    Hi-Point JXP 10mm

But for how long, one wonders? You know, the round-count thing...🤠 I know they have a good fix or replace warranty (or used to), but how often does one need to avail oneself of that warranty? I guess if TOO often, the company would go broke- and they've been around for several decades...

    Hi-Point JXP 10mm

The nice thing about a HiPoint is, when the police confiscate it after a shoot, you arent losing much, like your HiPower, 1911, Python, Ballerina-Molester... etc.

Is the 1911 Dangerous to Carry?

Sorry, no personal offense meant, but that's just absurd. When the pistol is up and pointed down-range, the safety is thumbed off- as natural as breathing with a 1911 or BHP... that's why we practice until we know our weapon...

    Which gun would you have

I'd hate to be stuck with a HiPoint, cuz I've seen too many break and require factory service or replacement. Not a good look during a crisis. If it was what I had available, I would make do... as would most of us Im sure.

Never Been Unhappy About a New Gun....Until Now

Receiving such gifts can be very bitter-sweet. When my late brother's guns came to me I was happy to receive them, both for their intrinsic "value" and for the memories they hold- but very sad at the loss of my brother to cancer- the family curse...

Is Corrosive Ammo Bad (or Actually Okay)?

Now that you mention it, I have heard that windex works well but have never tried it IIRC. I have tried straight ammonia tho- and mixed with water- it worked well. I tried mixing it with straight water cuz the straight ammonia stench really gets to me.

Is Corrosive Ammo Bad (or Actually Okay)?

I have read that the corrosive primers last longer than non-cor... is this the case? Any comments? I've personally fired some late ww2 nazi (Czech-made- steel case, steel jacket) corrosive stuff that was dyn-0-mite well into the 2010's.. anyone else?

Is Corrosive Ammo Bad (or Actually Okay)?

Having fired a lot of mil-surp corrosive, (I collect and shoot mil-surp firearms, and stacked surplus ammo high and deep when it was widely available and cheap) I recommend the hot soapy water... run the patched rod up and down the barrel (breech-end) while the front of the barrel is submerged...

    Pantherturm: Hitler’s Deadly Investment

It certainly is arguable that the Panther was the finest tank of the war after Kursk when the bugs were identified and worked out in subsequent production. Hitler insisted that it be rushed into production the counter the T34 and was disastrously fielded too early at Kursk before the serious...

    I Love REVOLVERS

J-Frames are only ONE of my revolver/pistol types. They are small and still a relatively powerful caliber (.38sp). I pocket-carry a J-Frame as a rule, (when I go out). I don't carry at home- no need cuz a firearm is never far away around here- less than a foot from my hand as I type. My favorite...
