buffer specs looks to be and h1. so it's using a carbine buffer instead of a pistol buffer. still the h1 is way lighter than a straight blowback buffer by 3-5 ozs.

it's been hit and miss for the 4 people i've talked with that have had it installed in their neck. 2 said it works great and 2 it didn't work for, but the temp did...................still trying to find out why the semi-permanent didn't? 1 person said that the 2nd wire didn't get installed...

what buffer system does it use..........carbine or pistol buffer and do you know the weight of the buffers? i haven't been able to find that info on cmmg's site

i've thinking about the cmmg in 45 and 10, but wish they were made like the 9 and 5.7 as they use ar15 converted mags. does the 45 you have use the radial delayed blowback? i haven't shot the 9 i have yet, but the 5.7 is smooth as butter.

I'd call and ask what it's supposed to do or be for exactly. Might not be worth having done depending on answer/answers. If it's engine management only......forget it! If it's something else like airbags or body module you might think about it
