    Scenario: Life Altering Choice

Clear the area as and if I can, have someone call 911. Assess the scene, if the scene is as clear as I can get it, then, go to guns on him. Provided I can confirm the presence of said gun.

    Is range time therapeutic?

I love guns and shooting sports, being outdoors in general is something I have always enjoyed. I find range time very therapeutic as you have said because I have to focus on everything that goes into shooting the gun safely and effectively. People often ask, " What is so therapeutic about...

    Factory Ammo...Fail To Fire

I will be getting either the XD Mod 2 subcomp. 9 or the Hellcat within the month. I was hoping to win one and save $500. I have talked to the gun dealers in my area and all I hear is that the Hellcat is backorder with their distributors.

    Factory Ammo...Fail To Fire

I have a Kahr CM40 as my EDC gun and if I have had any issues with it, it is because the gun is a hand Cannon and can not be limp wristed. It will fail to load the round completely into battery if you limp wrist it at all. It can be rather snappy, Chihuahua size with a pitbull bite. All...

    Advice for beginners

In thinking about Height said... The only TRUE SAFETY on a weapon is your trigger finger. Index the trigger until you are certain you are on target and everything beyond the target is safe if a round passes through the target.

Best night sights XDS mod 2 9mm

I have not personally done that, however, I have shot guns where this has been done to the front blade and it does help with sight alignment. I would suggest painting the rear sights a blaze orange if you plan to have the front sight green, or perhaps neon yellow or white for contrast.

    Advice for beginners

Proper grip will feel comfortable in your hand. The gun is a tool that will not serve you if it is not a part of you. If you have the right right stance, grip, trigger finger placement and eye alignment the weapon will feel like an extension of your hand. As JFMorris stated proper trigger...

Best night sights XDS mod 2 9mm

I really like the Speed Sight for the XD. I have been told that it is better to have a gunsmith install them as the XDs are very tight as far as the sights. https://speedsights.com/product/springfield-xd/

Be a “Good Witness” or possibly save a life?

Brother. I could write a book and cite case law and ethics standards in many texts I have studied in my quest to earn my CJ degree. This is a question that has been Central to many criminal and constitutional rights arguments 1A,2A,4A, etc. I appreciate the post. As a God fearing Protector of my...
