@Lab4Us, I agree with @BassCliff. When i got my Hellion I took it apart, checked cleaning and lubricated pretty much everything with a very light oil like Rem Oil 1st (don't pick on me here lol), then wiped it all down. Then went back and any parts that looked like they could touch, slide...

Hmmm, I've never seen it offered in the model listings. Haven't seen it in my local stores either. Just my luck. My black one is great though.

@powerboatr, We can get to the XD Mod.3 page and see all the features, there's just no models listed to choose from.

I hadn't seen the FDE XD Mod.3, just the black model.

Maybe waiting to see what the latest imports bring them and this week a few more model numbers might show up ... or they can't get enough imports in right now so it's just out if stock or it's discontinued and IT just didn't take the category down yet I can guess all day long and probably...

Not the XD, the XD Mod.3

Just curious ... I already have my XD Mod.3 but went to look up something today and I found it was missing. When I searched "Handguns", "XD", the category for XD Mod.3 exists along with the XDM and 2 other XD categories. But when you select it, it shows all of the features for the XD Mid.3...

I guess they unionized a few years ago and since then they have lost $250 million. I wonder what the union learned from that. I'm not against unions, just the stupid ones that negotiate themselves right out of a job.

My Buick Enclave auto unlock is programmable either way when putting it in Park. Same with the auto lock when putting it in Drive. If the door is locked you can not open the door from the inside unless you reach up and hit the unlock button 1st.

Just a thought ... Since the trooper appeared to put her window up as the guy approached the cruiser my guess is she had the door locked. But when she put the cruiser in Park the doors auto unlocked on her.

@BassCliff, Excellent analysis and pictures. I'm totally surprised, the barrels appear to be the same. If I had an XDM barrel I would probably pop off a few rounds at the range. I personally don't see anything wrong with the extra length either. So sticking out a little farther it doesn't...

Yep, I understand it will stick out which isn't the concern right now. I'm mostly concerned as to whether the XDM 9mm barrel will even lock up in the XD mod.3, whether it's even safe to try shoot with that barrel installed. My guess is NO but I don't have an XDM to try it out on my XD mod.3.

I'm curious if anyone on the forum here has an XDM and an XD mod.3 and can compare the barrels?

@The_Rev920, Welcome from western PA. I didn't find a threaded barrel for my XD mod.3 either. I am surprised to hear that an XDM barrel fit in the XD mod.3 slide. I'm curious if you ever fired it with this barrel in it? I would be more concerned that the barrel, the slide and the frame all...
