    Oregon ICE Protests

Um, not sure about that. I don't pay a lot of attention to what color anyone/city/state is. I'm more concerned at the national level. You know, the tearing down of institutions, the ignoring science, intentionally starving citizens, the embarrassment on the international stage by pretty much...

    Oregon ICE Protests

Sorry, I haven't seen much 'stability' lately. Only chaos and destruction.

    Oregon ICE Protests

If you're worried that some neon clad aerobics weirdos are a threat to our country, you don't think much about our country. YMMV

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I was a little off on my calc, I guess. I tried it and got 12 of those shorties into the tube just fine. While ejecting them, however, the last couple didn't want to be extracted. Sooo, need to get it out for live fire and try it, but 12 rounds between reloads is pretty good for a shotgun...

    GUN INSURANCE

Totally agree, Ford. That stuff belongs in the "can't be replaced" category.

    GUN INSURANCE

At the risk of sounding like it's gonna sound....... It's just stuff. Most stuff can be replaced. If it can't, protect it better.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Made an ammo stop yesterday. Bought a couple of boxes of FMJ 9mm (range duty) cheap and a couple of boxes of Shorty 12 gauge. I want to see how many of those little guys will go in my Mossberg Maverick 88 Security. My back of the napkin math indicates that I should be able to get 11 of those...

    GUN INSURANCE

I have an endorsement on my homeowners policy that increases the limits on Firearms, jewelry, and musical instruments. I believe I'm pretty well covered in the event of a total loss.

Maybe no more tax stamp on suppressors?

This was my thought. The $200 doesn't bother me nearly as much as what is being charged for a suppessor......

    Is Constitutional Carry a Mistake?

I respect your position and will only say that, in my observations, without boundaries, laws, limits, etc., people actually act very poorly, with little good judgement. The human species is far from an ideal one.

    Is Constitutional Carry a Mistake?

BassBob, To somewhat repeat myself, no, I don't consider those to be 'conditions', any more than the need to demonstrate your ability to operate a motor vehicle before you're allowed to endanger the rest of us while driving one. I strongly believe in our right to defend ourselves, but we're...

    Is Constitutional Carry a Mistake?

My apologies, but I do not understand what you're trying to say. I'm not sure what relevant competency means, but training is good. I have never seen anything I'd refer to as "govt mandated curriculums", nor would I endorse them. Gun shops/training centers/professionals, etc;, know best how...

    Is Constitutional Carry a Mistake?

Call it a right or a privilege, whatever you like, that's splitting hairs. Seems pretty sensible to me that asking that folks who want to carry/wield deadly force on our streets know how to use them.

Where in the world do you find this drivel? I'd like to see some fact checking! Facts matter to thinking folks.

People losing jobs over Trump remarks.

I agree with your thoughts. 1st Amendment and the Constitution are the Apex thoughts here. Regardless of how I feel about the gunman's marksmanship skills, I should be able to say them freely. We're still in America. Having spent a lot of years in corporate America, you should have the sense...
