I took my new XDm to the range Sunday morning. My first magazine convinced me I had made a good choice. I have been a Sig Sauer fancier since I was issued and depended on a P226 from my agency in 1985. I now have 14 or 15 Sigs of various sizes and calibers. This is the first non-Sig I've owned...

I've tried both Buffalo Bore and Underwood, in 10MM and 45ACP and I prefer Underwood. The performance is equitable, but the Underwood was a better buy, (Cheaper).

Ok, I rarely admit this, but I own a Sccy CX2(?). $156.00. It shoots well, but has a terrible trigger pull.

I carried a Sig P226 for the local police department for many years. I was issued 3 - 15 round magazines and 46 rounds, so I could re-fill (or top off) the magazine. I still do that for my EDC. At the range I just shoot a magazine. I don't see a need to top it off there.
