    Springfield Prodigy Compact Review

Yikes….might make that a no-go for me. I really need to find one in the wild to handle. The G 19 is smallest I’m willing to go for an EDC pistol.

    Springfield Prodigy Compact Review

I guess my interest is piqued on the 4.25” model that is comped. How “fat” is the grip compared to say, a Glock 19? I could possibly convince myself to put my Glock up and carry this in its place. Possibly. Appreciate any feedback on experience.

    Gun Estate

I have clients that ask me all the time what to do. I suggest that they make a list, and refer to them in their will. A good friend/client once told me he was afraid that when he passed, his wife would sell his guns for what he told her he paid for them. Let that sink in! 🤣

Ayoob: Will Carrying a 10mm Hang You in Court?

Having done my share of insurance defense, I can assure you the carrier isn’t looking out for you. And when you file a claim - any claim - you’re in the master index so you’ll be dropped most likely by your carrier at renewal and re-priced since you’ve filed a claim. They also pull your credit...

Ayoob: Will Carrying a 10mm Hang You in Court?

So educate me. If the lawyer of my choice in my local county is not a part of the network of approved USCCA, then what? USCCA will provide defense for any lawyer in my state? Or only those in their network? And if they are anything like other insurance companies, the lawyer has to answer to an...

Exactly. And a local lawyer is far better than an out-of-towner.

case trimmer & inside neck reamer

We’ve come a long way in the quality of brass, and generally rifles as well. No real need anymore for tight-necked chambering. I’d rather drive roofing nails into my knee caps than go back to turning necks.

Ayoob: Will Carrying a 10mm Hang You in Court?

You’d be better off spending a few hundred dollars and go sit with a local criminal defense lawyer and discuss things than join this USCCA bunch, IMO.

case trimmer & inside neck reamer

The idea of neck reaming is that it’s more consistent than turning. A neck can have more brass on one side of the neck than the other, so the “theory” is that neck turning can produce different neck thickness one one side than the other.

Do You Carry While Doing Yard Work?

No, not when piddling in my yard. I live on a semi-circle that might as well be a cul-de-sac. We know each other fairly well and all keep an eye out for the other. I'm close enough that I could get to the garage or back in the house if things got weird. My main-stay house gun is a Winny...
