My EDC knife is an automatic. Comes in real handy when your other hand is doing something else. Its only a 2.5" blade. Not exactly a deadly weapon. :rolleyes:

I like Metalform mags. I've found them to be the most reliable for my 38 Super 1911s. And yes, I do buy them from Greg Cote. He has the best prices. Wilson's .45 mags are the best. But their 9mm and 38 Super mags aren't quite as good. Metalform makes Colt's factory mags.

No. As long as the mags are for a 1911, they'll fit just fine. Wilson Combat mags are considered to be the very best. They're the only ones I'll use for carry or competition. (y)

Everybody is different. I've always kept it simple. Hoppe's #9 for cleaning and Hoppe's oil and Rig grease for lube. All of which are pretty cheap and readily available at most any sporting goods store or gun shop. If it turns, oil it. If it slides, grease it. ;)
