Springfield XD Mod 3: A Budget-Friendly Service Pistol That Delivers

yeah, think the Mod 4 took some styling queues from the Echelon's slide serrations . I would guess the rest of the pistol is basically the same as the Mod 3

Springfield XD Mod 3: A Budget-Friendly Service Pistol That Delivers

yup, definitely a pistol I would recommend to someone getting into firearms who might be on a limited budget. I have a Mod 2 from back in the day and it's always been a good shooter and I've had zero reliability issues. Pistol easily has 10,000 rounds through it

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Freshly delivered. I'll post pictures once it's mounted but to some people's dismay, it won't actually be on a Springfield.

love that they're pushing it forward but honestly at this point I have almost zero faith in the GOP to pass any significant legislation.

Review: Leupold Mark 4HD 4.5-18x Scope

thanks Red. It's a Howa Hera H7 It's a fantastic shooter , pushed it out to 1400 yards and was hitting steel every time. It's more rifle than I'll need but its fun. https://athlonoutdoors.com/article/howa-hera-h7/

The Top 10 Most Interesting Pistols of SHOT Show

interesting article, kind of surprised some of those made the list. To me, the firearm on there I'm most looking forward to is the Canik Prime Radian. The mc9 Prime is an incredibly good pistol and it was very well received last year. Think this is a cool upgrade / collaboration with Radian...

    Optic’s viewpoint

yes, technically all things man-made can fail. I've had gun fail on the range and have seen plenty of students have issues over the years but you play the odds. get quality gear maintain it replace batteries at set intervals and you play the odds. for me, every single carry gun now has an...

    Optic’s viewpoint

+1000% co-witnessing is not only overrated it's pointless with modern red dots. if you are focused on your target and superimposing a dot you should never see the irons. if you see the irons, you are already doing it wrong as you shifted your eyes from where they should be.

    Costco Tire Service Centers

been a Costco executive member for 25 years. haven't gotten tires there in about 20. Discount tires usually has more competitive pricing and it doesn't take them 90 minutes to install your tires.

    Optic’s viewpoint

think of it this way. Lets say you're driving a car with a hood emblem. If you were to drive around focused on the road vs driving around focused on the hood emblem. One of those lets you drive around all day perfectly fine, one does not end well. right now your eyes are trying to look at...

    Optic’s viewpoint

the struggle comes from where your eyes are used to going to where the now should be. let me elaborate. for those of us who shot irons our whole lives, we were trained to have a hard focus on the front sight. why? because we had to focus there so we could then line up the front sight to the...
