i see a bleak future for gun rights up here

Again, it depends on multiple factors. As I said, there are numerous situations where the bad guy has taken several rounds and kept fighting/advancing.

i see a bleak future for gun rights up here

There are numerous examples of people (usually high on drugs) taking multiple handgun rounds and staying in the fight. Unless it's an instant kill shot, handgun rounds aren't all that effective.

Jelly Roll wants his rights restored, especially 2nd Amendment. What say you?

I don't know about all prisons, but I know if PA it is definitely geared towards rehabilitation. There are many classes geared toward becoming better citizens. They are also offered all types of educational and trade training opportunities. And they are afforded opportunities to get their ducks...

Jelly Roll wants his rights restored, especially 2nd Amendment. What say you?

An unjust law shall not be followed. The Nazis were just following orders and that wasn't a defense. And we all know how corrupt and error filled the system is. And I am not even talking about things like "institutional racism", which, I don't believe is a real thing. But I am talking about...

Jelly Roll wants his rights restored, especially 2nd Amendment. What say you?

Personally, I don't feel those freedoms should have to be restored. I don't think they should ever be removed. I also believe that we should have much stiffer penalties in the first place.

But it's not shooting to kill and it's not semantics. I have been through the trainings. I can't say much becuase it's an ongoing cases, but I have a friend facing charges right now and I guarantee you that how he testifies will not be semantics. Are there people with badges and firearms...

i see a bleak future for gun rights up here

But they aren't doing mag dumps to shoot to kill. They're doing mag dumps becuase they are human beings. They are reacting to a perceived fear, and we critters act irrationally out of fear. If you ask most people who have discharged their firearm after a critical incident, they can't tell you...

i see a bleak future for gun rights up here

No officer shoots center mass to kill, they shoot center mass as it's the biggest, easiest target. And they're not shooting to kill, they're shooting to stop the threat. If the bad guys goes down and is still alive, but out of the fight, perfect. They're not continuing to shoot to make sure...

    Eggnog – Cocktail in Disguise

We buy the Southern Comfort Eggnon - doesn't have alcohol in it, just flavored. I have been putting touch of bourbon in mine, really good stuff if you get the ratio right

i see a bleak future for gun rights up here

The good news is that I think SCOTUS/the Feds are going to drop the hammer on states having restrictive gun laws. I think we're going to have a few good years ahead

My Fellow Texans are Letting Me Down!

In theory, sure. But that's already not legal. There are already anti-discrimination laws in place. You can't refuse to serve someone just becuase of their race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation...there are already laws on the books that prevents that. All I am saying is that in that...

Jelly Roll wants his rights restored, especially 2nd Amendment. What say you?

That's one of the reasons why I don't think there should be any "process." It should be automatic. Not in jail/prison, not on probation/parole, you have gun rights. Easy peasy. But, again, just my opinion

    Shooting in Rhode Island

I respectfully disagree. I think there are cameras in FAR TOO MANY places already. We're living in a dystopia where you can't go out in public without being recorded somewhere. I prefer carrying firearms EVERYWHERE. I would much prefer the shooter be met with armed resistance than recorded to...

what defines a "private business". If you allow the general public in, then, you're not private. My opinion is that property rights extend to your domicile. But, that's just my opinion

My Fellow Texans are Letting Me Down!

In theory, sure. But I am thinking more of discrimination angle. A business can't legally discriminate access to it's business for race, religions, sexual orientation, etc...they are are all protected. I don't see why we allow the 2A to be treated differently. I do allow for two...

Jelly Roll wants his rights restored, especially 2nd Amendment. What say you?

I have the utmost respect for my brothers behind the wall. I want nothing to do with working on the inside. And to be clear, I am definitely not saying that these guys are all better once they get out. I'm also not saying there wouldn't be some danger in letting this happen. I am just sayng...

Jelly Roll wants his rights restored, especially 2nd Amendment. What say you?

I am 100% for this. Actually, I'm for people not having their rights removed in the first place. While you're in jail, of course, no weapons. But once you're out, back to normal. I MIGHT make a concession for folks on parole/probation as they are still serving their sentence, so they aren't...

My Fellow Texans are Letting Me Down!

I have said it before, I'll say it again, and I will die on this hill. Property owner's "right's" shouldn't extend to a business open to the general public. And they can't be selective on what rights they allow customers to use. Walmart can't ban someone from entering just becuase of their...

Florida college student had AR-15 under bed on campus

You shouldn't have to choose where you live based on you're desire to use your rights? Again, we allow the 2A to be treated as a second class right. We would never allow a landlord to restrict someone's rights to worship, or to vote, but yet we allow them to trample our 2A rights. It makes...

Florida college student had AR-15 under bed on campus

But they shouldn't be allowed to put restriction in that limit your constitutional rights. A landlord can't limit your first amendment rights. It would never be allowed to have a contract that says if you live here you must agree to give up your right to worship. You can live here, but you're...
