    THE COMBAT MAGNUM

I still have the M19 I used in the Police Academy. We shot a lot of 38 Spec. wadcutters. I bought because I read Bill Jordan's "No Second Place Winner." My father carried one as a deputy sheriff. One of the first in 1956, Flint Michigan.

    SA 35 Finally...

I just ordered an SA 35. I've wanted one for a while, but couldn't find one for sale. They must have been somewhere, lots of people talking and posting about the pistol. I bought one of the new FN High Power's, it's an amazing gun. FN's cost a bit more, but are worth a bunch more. The slide...

    Hex Dragon Red Dot

The Dragonfly is too big. It's made for the larger XD's. I have one on my XDm OSP MATA (& etc) in 10MM. The Wasp is the RDS for the smaller pistol.

Wilson Combat SFX9 9mm 1911 Variant Pistol: Full Review

    New FN Pistols

Yeah... I want one of the 10MM pistols... I like the look of the 509 so a 510 will fit right in.

    Wood grip feedback

My father made his own nightstick out of hickory. When I started many years later, I was issued a black plastic stick out of some kind of heavy material.

    Wood grip feedback

Cocobolo is probably the strongest and toughest wood going. In the old days (to you, not me) it was used for prop shaft bearings in ships.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN AR-15 AND AR-10

I'm very fortunate: I have one of each. An FN15 in 556X45 of course. A Live Free assembled AR10 in 7.62X51. I'm not comfortable discussing the M16's we were issued in Vietnam. I'll just say, some of them didn't work very well.

Is Modernizing the SA-35 a Mistake?

True, I decided I'd rather have another P226 than a P35 that may not work... The FN 35, or whatever they call it, looks great, but too high priced for me.

Biden promises legislating “Eight bullets in a round” Bottomless ignorance on guns

Do not be misled by the Democrat mis-speaking firearms nomenclature. It's done intentionally. This is to show their constituents they are not firearm "geeks", and to give us something to concentrate on, rather than their supposed intent.

Good guy with a gun draws weapon — and the brutal attack ends right there

I'm a retired Florida Police Officer,,, (I know BFD) I've heard more than once that a crime stopped immediately when the suspect found out the intended victim or a witness was armed. The gun was never brought into play, just that the victim was not helpless. That's why "Gun Free Zone" really...
