I’ve shot thousands of rds of steel cased ammo thru my Bushmaster, Colt, DD and LaRue’s AR’s and only had problems when the old style Russian lacquer ammo heated up in the chamber….. But I seldom clean AR’s either, just wipe & apply Slip 2000
