40 and blustery here in Central Texas, so I stayed in and cleaned a couple pistols- after I put the tree up first, a man’s gotta eat ya know.

I got the same one, I replied that I already own two and that’s enough. I’m more fond of my 1911’s in my later years now.

Last I checked, Texas DPS carries the M18 with optics now, Texas Game Wardens moved from the Glock 17 to the Glock 45.

Took me 10 minutes to read and absorb, 1/2 cup coffee later, I’m good to go. Nothing lost, ample nostalgia and info from a notable firearm instructor. YMMV
