    First Look: Echelon Alpha 4.0C

I've really been considering getting an Echelon since I don't have a full size pistol yet. But I think I still want a 4.5F COA instead.

    Truck Guns

In a shooting, it's gonna be several minutes before the police arrive so you have plenty of time to take care of business and then holster your weapon. You'll probably have enough time to call 911 yourself and explain what happened. I sure did. I swear, people worry about all the wrong...

    Dress Code

I carry my Kuna like this while walking my dog late at night. Single point sling, no brace, tucked up high and honestly easier to rotate out than it is to draw from IWB. It's nerd-chic and doesn't get a second glance at all.

    Dress Code

I hate seeing people carrying guns in stupid ways. Low slung, loose pants with no belt so you inevitably drop the gun when you try to run or not having a holster so you are forced to hold the gun automatically escalating every situation you encounter. It's ridiculous.

    Dress Code

I'll forever sing the praises of the Enigma system. Once tuned properly for your body type and clothing choices with padding, wedges, belts, leashes or clips it's perfect. I wish they included a selection of pads, wedges and clips just to set the expectation that it should be tuned instead of...

    Dress Code

I concealed in a NPE for a year at my last jobsite. A bodyguard 2.0 IWB in an enigma and a tucked in shirt was never looked at twice. I've moved up to a Shield X w/ a Light and optic and still carry pretty often in NPEs with 0 problems. Y'all need to up your holster game. That's what it's...

    Anyone else into PCC’s?

This is exactly it. I always learn something from seeing how others have their guns configured. Whether it be grip choice, trigger changes etc. I like the more rounded vertical grips I've seen pictured here several times and will probably replace my oval shaped grip with one I saw here...

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

I Mr. ayoob is mostly correct but this was before the age of 3d printing and modern materials science. How you dress is much less important with the advent of rigs like the Enigma. No longer do you need a belt or jacket to conceal a shoulder rig etc. One can easily conceal carry in a...

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

The more I think about this topic, the more I just think it's framed from the wrong angle. The discussion should be much more about holsters and how you carry on your body than the size of the gun. The holster, positioning and things like clips/belts matter so much more than anything about the...

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

I have a drawer full of holsters myself as well. It's a sign of trial and error until you get it just right for your body and gun. It's a good thing unlike what anyone may tell you. And after my long search, a Phlster Enigma and 4bros Kydex performs at the level I'd expect. I can run, jump...

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

Even with the holster you're at right around 20oz I'm sure. And besides that's weird cut off to have. It's more about properly positioning and having support in the right places.

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

I'm like 99% sure a BG2.0 is less than that fully loaded. I've got a bit of a gut myself but a small pad alleviates my only hotspot.

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

And it goes to all your points about the gun being in the same place every time for a reliable draw. The Enigma enabled that so much more because it keeps the gun in the same spot and eliminates all variables in pants and clothing pockets.

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

Phlster Enigma + bodyguard 2.0. You can wear it all day everyday with literally any clothing. It's completely clothing agnostic. Wear your skirt or kilt and still be well armed. You'll forget it's there. I carry a larger Shield X with a light in an Engima and I forget it's there everyday...

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

Really carrying even a .22 makes you better armed and more prepared than the general population.

    The trouble with PCC's

At least the ammo is much cheaper and you can afford to shoot it way more often than a rifle. And you can stockpile it way easier since it's cheaper.

    Anyone else into PCC’s?

Right now I've only got the one PCC but it's a good one. B5 Systems forward grip and mini pistol grip. HB Industries Short Stroke Buffer kit and Aluminum rear picatinny cover and right side safety delete. Nexus Firearms charging handle replacement. Magpul QD sling. Holosun ARO Evo Gold dot...

    Smaller Guns for Defense?

Bodyguard 2.0. 12+1 .380acp in the same size and weight as a cell phone and has not just decent but downright good ergonomics and shoot ability. Very few of the posted guns look like they're capable of getting a decent grip on or have anything close to decent capacity.

    Sig 320 discharges

The stakes are too high to not stop using it. Getting shot in the femoral artery isn't exactly something you can just walk off.
