You can try CLR or Coke. Both have phosphoric acid in them which will remove the rust off of the blade. A soak of 12-24hrs in either. Then a a good rinsing in water and then ballistol again.

I considered the CSX also I prefer hammer fired pistols but the size of the HellCat again won. My arthritis is getting worse especially in my hands. And having a full grip on a handgun and optic ready makes a huge difference in my decisions on buying handguns now.

I like S&W I own several but the size of the HellCat won out over the Shield and Sig. I have a Ruger Max9 and it’s accurate and your cut but the HellCat is the same size with a 15rd capacity.

Apex Tactical has been making triggers for a while and I’ve never heard of anyone having problems with them. I’ve put them on several guns.
