Good read. Honestly .303 started with regular gun power before coronate (my spelling is bad) then smokeless powder. I have a 1917 Enfield and Ruger chambered in .308. Personally I like the .303 a little bit better.

Just remember that the HCP isn’t really a SA product. SA is selling HS stuff under SA FFL. Otherwise I didn’t really have any problems with mine when I had it but got rid of it because it was to small. It was definitely better than the Glock G43X I had. Oh welcome to the forum

I’ll avoid Dick’s all together. The one I went to was in Davenport IA. I know cabella’s is owned by bass pro shop but anything close to me is near Chicago (and I hate Chicago driving along with the taxes)

I heard about Academy but haven’t been to one. Personally I don’t mind trying stuff out and do a drive if it’s decent. The only problem I have is driving to the Chicagoland area for stuff because it’s just a joke to get around.

It’s like a Dicks sporting goods but better. There are different locations scattered across the Midwest and I choose to go to this one over Iowa City, Iowa. For me this is closer than any bass pro shop out there too (about 200 miles plus away).
