Brake check. New info..... my old six-shooter is now apparently fixable. This means my 3-4 week listed turn around has doubled and I still dont have it back. And no ETA when it should come back. Still, they offered the combo service; giving (and by giving, I mean charging me) me a .22Mag...

Ayoob: Is .45 Still Better Than 9mm?

Don't they know that .32 ACP is the one true caliber:

    Why This Forum?

I like this one because people tend to have a sense of humor. I've only almost been banned two or three times. And OM's avatar(s).

Big Horn Armory Takedown M89 .500S&W—Powerful Innovation

Yeah, I've seen both. Neither one is in my price range. Also I have no desire to have a lever action, mag fed PPC. I like weird but ...eeeeeeww.

    Have You Seen This?

Dave Bautista/Mr. Hinx used one in the James Bond movie Spectre.

    Pathfinder II

I had a Charter Arms Pathfinder. This is a 6 shot DA/SA. 22LR revolver. It began to shoot like a shotgun. I got a hold of Charter Arms and ended up sending it to them. The six week return window came and went so I reached out to them and was informed that it could not be repaired. They offered...

Has the current world climate changed your daily routine?

No. Not me. Once you hit a certain level of paranoia it takes a lot to change

Big Horn Armory Takedown M89 .500S&W—Powerful Innovation

I'm hoping that Rossi will make a 9mm lever action. One that the poors (me) can afford. A triple black so it can still be tacti-cool.

    Let's see your AR setups...

I went with the SilencerCo Hybrid 46 for my 10.5" 5.56 pistol. I don’t have anything shorter and SilencerCo rates the Hybrid 46 for 5.56 NATO down to a 10-inch barrel. I'm not a suppressor aficionado and picked up the 46 because its kind of a do-all.

How do you do that? Asking for a friend.

    Lower came in

I would like to say that I managed to zero my 10mm AR pistol. Now that this has been completed I may never shoot it again. What a thumper. If I ever decide to SBR something, this would be it. I was hoping it would be fun and mild like my Glock 20. That is not the case.

Tested: Doubletap 10mm 200-Grain Hardcast Solid

I use Underwood 10mm 140gr Xtreme Penetrator (Lehigh solid copper bullet). Fired from a Glock 20 (4.6-inch barrel): Bullet weight: 140 grains Advertised velocity: ~1,500 fps Muzzle energy: ≈700 ft-lbs (about 950 joules)

Handguns for Bear Defense: Will Any of Them Stop the Threat?

Around my neck of the woods, I carry a Glock 20 with Underwood 10mm 140gr Xtreme Penetrator (Lehigh solid copper bullet), Bullet weight: 140 grains Advertised velocity: ~1,500 fps Muzzle energy: ≈700 ft-lbs (about 950 joules). This is from a Glock 20. I would feel like I have enough handgun...

    What is your EDC ?

    I put 9mm but I like it all. .32, .380, .38 Spl., 9mm, .357 mag, .40, 10mm. I have a .25 and a .45 but I don't carry either.

    Changing back to Glock

I got my Osight. My oh my. It sits so much lower than my Swampfox. Plus the added rear sight notch is a plus. I really like the green dot as well. Tomorrow, when I re-spring my friend's Beretta 96 (Wilson Combat kit), I'll whip out the fat wrench and make sure its torqued down correctly and...

    Girsan P-35, PI, LW, Match

I've heard good things about them. I was tempted to get one but went with the Glock 48 instead; only because I could carry it at work and needed the justification.

What are you doing right now??

Linux is an extensible, POSIX-conformant, preemptively multitasked, virtual-memory-managed execution environment leveraging ELF binaries, dynamically linked shared objects, kernel-space/user-space privilege separation, and modular loadable kernel objects to provide a portable systems-computing...
