Screw you Obi-Wan. Your Jedi mind tricks don't work on me. I know what I like.

And this, children, is why the authorities tell you never to drive into water. "Do as I say, not as I do."

    store security

Dude earned every lick he received. He got off easy. Naturally, the guy with the stick/club will be prosecuted, as well as the guy who restrained him. That's not justice. If more criminals understood there may be serious and immediate consequences to their actions it may give them pause.

It seems like those are the ones I bought. Been awhile, though.

    Girsan M14 T

There are magazines available that work. Your post made it sound like you aren't willing to run Beretta or ProMag. That should make your decision easy. The pistol is fine. Well made, runs well. Mags are out there but, like too many other pistols, they aren't exactly inexpensive or readily...

    Girsan M14 T

Sorry, the Beretta mags do work. I have three for ours. Personally we have never experienced issues with ProMags. They work fine in our Caniks and S&Ws we have them for. If you're going to use magazine availability as your reason to not get one, that's your decision.

    Learn me about Red Dots

I think what is being suggested is to consider a dot that has a notch of sorts to use in place of the rear sight. I am aware that some pistols have the rear sight as part of the slide cover (a Canik or two come to mind in this regard) and it is gone when you mount a dot.

I have the Wheeler. As long as it reads inch-pounds it should be good.

    Learn me about Red Dots

Here's what I have learned thus far: Cheap isn't a bargain. A dot on a pistol gets repeatedly abused and less expensive options fail soon. Expect to pay around $200 for something that can take the punishment. We have been pleased with our Holosuns and Sigs. Battery life is governed by how...

I hope they replaced it with a Nerf gun. That appears to be the limit for that person's skill set.

    Next Gun Purchase

If you choose another handgun I would recommend getting something optics ready, regardless if you plan to run a dot, or not. Will help with value down the line. May ruffle some feathers, but in the $1000 and under neighborhood look at Canik. The Rival (especially the steel framed one) and TTI...

    Next Gun Purchase

If your house has lath and plaster walls they are really tough. 9mm and .380 HP will barely make it through both sides of an old interior wall (let's just say a member of our household has unintentionally/empirically proven that fact). I would think that FMJ won't be exactly screaming once it's...

    Range Report: Glock 48 MOS

    This 13-year-old has SKILLS...AKA: I love a fun ending!

Sadly, the family will likely be subject to legal persecution. "How did a 13 year old have access to a loaded firearm?" "Why did he fear for his life? Was it the color of the criminal's skin? He must be trained to hate!" "Why didn't he hide and call 911?" "Why did he shoot at the car as...
