    I Think I Created a Monster!

Ok guys, so in my previous post on the EDC forum, I stated that my wife and I got firearms and our CCW Permits. So at first my wife was deathly afraid of the Walther P22Q that I got her. But I explained all of the safety features on it (DA/SA, Safety, Mag Safety). After a day or so, she loves...

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

Yeah I've heard that before, unfortunately my wife and I aren't able to have children easily, we both have a genetic issues that make it a lot harder. We have been trying for over 12 years. It's ok though, we made our peace with it, we just live for each other, and our families have been very...

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

That's another thing I wanted to pick up for her. These also help a lot if a traffic accident happens. I heard it isn't that expensive to have them installed either.

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

Exactly this! I did give her the basic rundown, and she pointed out that I was raising my voice on the serious matters, without me even realizing it. Guess the old training kicked in. This is exactly why I chose to pay for professional training, they have more years of experience and they...

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

She did file a report. Unfortunately because the driver was behind her the whole time, she didn't get an ID of the person or license plate either. Not much to do on there.

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

Oh yes I agree, but this incident happened while I was at work and she was by herself and I was at work. That was the scary wake up call. Also I wanted her to be able to defend herself, if something ever happens to me.

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

Yes I all got both of us membership to the in door range in our area, and I paid for us to sign up for Safety Classes and Shooting Classes at the same Range. I have given her the basics to her firearm, but I wanted her properly trained (I got training in the Army, but even I am attending the...

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

Thank you, I want to make sure she is properly trained, there is no substitute for good training. She did file a report, but because the driver was behind her the whole time, she didn't get a license plate, or a good look at the guy there wasn't much to go on.

The Incident that Lead me to EDC

Hello everyone, I just joined the forum about a week ago, and I wanted to share some information with you all. I am 40 years Old, married, and I was in the Army National Guard back in 2003. After the military I really had no desire or need to purchase a firearm. The community I live in isn't...

Quality/Price Ratio for Pistols, Do Higher Priced Pistols Mean Better Quality?

Fun story on that, I was at one of the shops in my area, a Dunham's, any way I overheard an interesting conversation, a woman was looking to buy her first pistol, the man at the counter stopped her from pointing at a Rock Island and said she should buy a pistol from the US. Then the very next...

Quality/Price Ratio for Pistols, Do Higher Priced Pistols Mean Better Quality?

Ah the Taurus...the ugly step-child of the firearm world. Though once in the blue moon they can surprise the community. I don't hate on them that much. but I swear every Gun Store I have been to, the employees never recommend them. Once I asked an employee, "If you all hate the Taurus so much...
