Quality/Price Ratio for Pistols, Do Higher Priced Pistols Mean Better Quality?

I completely agree with that. I like I said in an early reply I should have been more specific, I just don't see the need to paying more for a Rose Gold Trigger on an already very reliable and established Pistol, when I could get the base model with the same quality for a lot cheaper.

    well this just sucks

Which is also weird considering how many Gun Shows they have in that area. Almost everyone that attends those are not from Allegheny County. Where I live there is a large hunting community and sportman's clubs too, so for many of us it's just easier to have a CCW Permit.

Quality/Price Ratio for Pistols, Do Higher Priced Pistols Mean Better Quality?

completely true...it's as if a toddler gave his dad a simple box design of a pistol using crayons and the dad decided to roll with it.

Quality/Price Ratio for Pistols, Do Higher Priced Pistols Mean Better Quality?

I agree with you, for me personally I will never buy a firearm that is cheaper than $350. However I will never buy a firearm that is $1,000 just because that model has a gold plated frame, when the standard model is about $250 cheaper. I guess I should have explained a bit more, I was just...

Quality/Price Ratio for Pistols, Do Higher Priced Pistols Mean Better Quality?

Ok this seems to be an age old question, but do Higher End (aka Higher Priced) pistols mean better quality and reliability? The reason I ask is because I have researched and have asked many gun owners this question and I seem to get every answer under the sun. I get the definite "Yes they do!"...

    well this just sucks

Yep my County in Pa is very similar, just walk into the courthouse, fill out the papers and about five minutes later you get your picture taken and your permit. However I have heard some horror stories from other counties. I'm glad I live in the county I do.

Ok, Judge Dredd's Lawgiver with the voice activated ammo was cool as ****. But their motorbikes....QC needs to be "Judged" on that.

Gun Shop Patrons, What is the worst thing you have seen other customers do?

So, in 2013 I was at a small gun shop about 15 miles from where I live, nice and quiet, the guys that work there are hilarious and really helpful. So I went in one day to buy some MREs and I had just bought my first rifle (a Henry Lever Action 22LR) a week earlier and was going to talk to the...

    Anyone else into cooking?

I love cooking, nothing fancy or elegant, just simple recipes. I like doing food on the charcoal grill, skillet, and oven. My favorites to do are soups, stews, steak, bbq chicken, eggs and fried potatoes.

Got My Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec Defender Early!

I ordered this from Sportsman's Warehouse on Friday, and the it originally stated that is would arrive at my store on Feb. 12. This morning I got a notification it arrived, and I was over the moon. It is as great as I had imagined. I actually got a bit emotional when the guy at the gun...

SAR USA B6 (My first Pistol)

The M9 Beretta is what I had in the Army, it was a very reliable firearm. If I ever got one I'd probably get the grips for make it a Samurai Edge from the Resident Evil games, it's very iconic.
