    Full Knee Replacement Surgery

Get that 2nd and maybe a 3rd opinion. As I probably said earlier, my right knee has been replaced 5 times. Two to defective parts, two to doctor screw-up and one that has worked for 10 years now. Also had my right hip replaced twice within three months last year. Doctors screw up all the...

    1970s VS 2026 thinking

Another reminiscing session. In the early 70s, the hippie would gather at the carousel in Griffith Park, in L.A. Any of us in the surrounding divisions would be sure to pack our riot helmets, cause at 1600 hrs the call would go out for a tactical alert. As my area was adjacent to Hollywood...

Anyone else have random Junk Drawers

Cause it is true. As a cop Iworked the anti-war riots in 1991. There they were…bald on top, but pony tails, tie dies shirts, placards, all the rest. Probably had to wear their moldy relics one more time, greeting each other like long list friends, which they probably were. In the heat they...

    Veterans' 2nd Amendment Protection Act

Problem is that the V.A.feels that if you can not handle your finances, you are probably not safe with a firearm, because of memory issues. To a certain extent they may be correct, but to target every vet whose wife handles the $$$, as mine does, is a slap in the face to us!

Lone Survivor--What would you have done?

Lots of people in black pajamas I’m remembering one afternoon on Hill 37, scanning the Arizona Free Fire Zone, when I noticed a small village with black pajamas running everywhere. The ships binos picked up them running to a haystack and back to the huts. Then noticed a Marine patrol 100...

I didn't realize this about our kinder, gentler Navy until today.

Went to Sill in 1968. Sure must have been a lot of meritorious Captains then! Read about the 3,6 EOT awards in some official publication years later. Just look at the fruit salad on any flag rank officer. Farther away from combat the more of the “meritorious” ribbons you see.

I didn't realize this about our kinder, gentler Navy until today.

Nothing new…I went to Artillery School as a Marine Lt. EVERY Army officer I saw had a Bronze Star ribbon. I had only seen one in the Corps. Turns out that the Army awarded a CIB to Infantry types after 3 months, an Army Commendation after 6 months and a Bronze Star, without V, as an end of...

More CZ Sexy: The Shadow 2 Target

The 40B is a great pistol, if you have larger hands…mimics the original 1911. Only problem is the 10 round mag, although I have some 12 rounders for the CZ75 which work, even if they only hold 12 rounds.

Auto-Ordnance Announces the New Lightweight M1 Thompson

Almost bought an auto model in the am…was $75.00. Decided on a M3, not A1, instead, $50.00. Mags were easier to get. Could it have brought it home, but sakes of stuff like it were rampant there!

    WEED

Now that they seem to have a DUI-Drugs test for marijuana, I have no problems. From LE experience, pot users think they can get away with driving while high. Evidently, no more. Let the attests begin.,!
