    Back when a Deputy got paid less than $200 a month we had very few that failed to follow directions. It is nice to see there are still departments that the officers touch the back or taillight as they walked to driver's window.

    Well said and I remember a few incidents way back when I was full time LEO. In today's world it seems that is the goal to push the limit until the line of sanity disappears. Then someone ends up losing a family member.

    I had Snorten Norton for a short time along with a Royal Enfield and getting parts was ridiculous. The carburetor on the Norton was a pain so took both to the auction.

    If anyone wants a real fun dirt bike to the ride in the desert find yourself a Matchless 500 or 650, I was fortunate to have them. Those single cans made a lot of noise and spit flame out the single exhaust but loved to run.
