I am 100% IE. the American Legion got me to 30%, then quit. Got an enrolled agent, who was willing to fight for me. His take was 20% of the back pay. I would rather have 80% of something than 100% of nothing!

I reload, but the price of FMJ practice ammo is cheaper than 5he cost of bullets, primers and powder. Save my brass for the fancy bullets. Now on the lookout for a goid price on decent practice stuff.

Running n the paddies, the 5.56 was great in the open. But in the JUNGLE, not so good. Little penetration using the standard round. Shooting at Mr. Charles, hit or miss, too easily deflected. The M60 round did not have this problem, continuing to penetrate. This was evidenced by tracers...

OK…as the owner of several “Sporterized”rifles, one-off which I had. Hand in, I gotta chime in. When vets came home, many brought back foreign firearms. Beingbi. A recession, the hunters among them decided to make them more usable. Thus Sporterized…a shorter barrel, better sights, rechambering...

I remember the early 70s, before Tasers, hand held radios, tear gas, etc. when you were expected to go hands on and chokeholds solved many a problem!
