I hate spendjng the money but, those tires are 26 years old and the tread is down to about 25%. I knew it was time when I couldn't get traction going uphill pulling a bush hog. Plus I got leaks.

The total number of rounds expended is misleading. Accounting for training ammo, ammo given to allies, ammo expended in recon by fire, ammo fired from miniguns, only a small percentage of the total is fired by troops in contact with the enemy.
I think better comms, BODY armor, SWAT teams, patrol rifles, and better training have kept the numbers down quite a bit. Car crashes kill a lot of cops and we could do a whole lot better with that.

Stopped in at my favorite LGS and bought the 94 Winchester SRC I have been ogling. It is a Buffalo Bill commemorative, .30-30, looks unfired. Had to pay full price but it makes me happy
