    Price of suppressors

The obvious reason is because people will pay what sellers are asking. If there weren't a sufficient number of people willing to shell out in the neighborhood of $1000 for one, there wouldn't be a supply of them. One thing I have observed is that some gun people are willing to pay top dollar...

The price definitely gets your attention. The cool factor of a .500 mag lever gun pegs the meter in my world.

    Have You Seen This?

As mentioned above, Kentucky Ballistics has featured it multiple times in his stuff. As I recall, it doesn't impress with accuracy. I'm in the camp that asks "why?". It's definitely unusual, but not for me.

    Level 10 stupid

I lived in Arizona for 18 years. One of the big issues at that time were the people who left their previous home and wanted to bring things they were trying to escape with them. This was especially true of plants. Heard a garden expert on the radio once speak with amazement that people insisted...

    store security

Dude earned every lick he received. He got off easy. Naturally, the guy with the stick/club will be prosecuted, as well as the guy who restrained him. That's not justice. If more criminals understood there may be serious and immediate consequences to their actions it may give them pause.

There are magazines available that work. Your post made it sound like you aren't willing to run Beretta or ProMag. That should make your decision easy. The pistol is fine. Well made, runs well. Mags are out there but, like too many other pistols, they aren't exactly inexpensive or readily...

    Girsan M14 T

Sorry, the Beretta mags do work. I have three for ours. Personally we have never experienced issues with ProMags. They work fine in our Caniks and S&Ws we have them for. If you're going to use magazine availability as your reason to not get one, that's your decision.

    Learn me about Red Dots

I think what is being suggested is to consider a dot that has a notch of sorts to use in place of the rear sight. I am aware that some pistols have the rear sight as part of the slide cover (a Canik or two come to mind in this regard) and it is gone when you mount a dot.

    Learn me about Red Dots

Here's what I have learned thus far: Cheap isn't a bargain. A dot on a pistol gets repeatedly abused and less expensive options fail soon. Expect to pay around $200 for something that can take the punishment. We have been pleased with our Holosuns and Sigs. Battery life is governed by how...
