Aftermarket Triggers: Top 5 for Glock Pistols

I think folks like Glocks because the trigger reminds them of their first gun, at least it does to me.

Review: 1911 DS Prodigy Comp 9mm

D&H wins $10 Million Army Magazine Contract

I must be old, I still prefer aluminum over polymer. Not to say I don't have Magpul, just like my old surplus mags. Once new springs and no tilt followers are installed they are choice.

V-22 Osprey: Helicopter That Identifies as an Airplane

AV8 Harrier is/was a tried platform. They were assembled in St Louis and used by the Marines. They didn't crash every other time they went up. We got them in crates and I would to this day trust one over that flying coffin V-22.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

More mags and a forearm grip for scary rifles.

Is Drawing Your Gun a Mistake?

Confused by the ending paragraph. So we don't draw down on a drunken neighbor kicking in your back door. Suppose we just let him force his way in, and because he's drunk let him kick the **** out of me because he thinks I'm in HIS home. Uh, yeah neighbor in this scenario would be bleeding...

SOCOM 16 — Is a .308 Too Much for Home Defense?

Look, I'm as old as dirt but a Glaser Safety slug? Seriously, who still has that antique? Any of the new frangible 9mm loads will drop a threat and NOT penetrative 8 sheets of drywall.

Son in law is retired Army, ran around with a little group called the Nightstalkers, they did just fine with Blackhawk and Chinook.

SOCOM 16 — Is a .308 Too Much for Home Defense?

Seriously? Well I guess it depends on your "home" doesn't it? I mean if you live in an apartment in LA then uh yeah it's excessive. If you live in a 5000 square foot "cabin" in Montana sitting on 500 acres then why not a Barrett 82 in .50cal? Even on a small farm, unless in Grizzly country a...

    Huge MLB News. . .

I can appreciate it, but I also question the pandering. Yes, I said it. If you add the stats then you also need to add the asterisks. I would have loved to known what Satchel Paige in his prime would have done against Babe Ruth, but it never happened.

Dem bill would prohibit civilians from purchasing, possessing Level III body armor

His royal fatness Prickster already banned vests in Illinois. Remember this when that fascist runs for president.

Until theirs a Ronin Commander in 10mm I'll never have the right Springfield 1911.

Should You Display Your Collectible Firearms?

An antique hanging on the wall is not uncommon in the Midwest. Displaying a nickel-plated Colt Commander in a car on the other hand IS idiotic.

Should You Display Your Collectible Firearms?

Battle of the 4.25" 1911 Pistols — Garrison vs. Emissary

Both are a bad choice for concealed. Both weigh a ton, give me an aluminum frame. Don't want a cheese grater digging in my side either with that rail.

    Amazing How Quickly We Age

I met a Spanish American War veteran, my dad knew a Civil War sergeant. Brother was a Bay of Pigs veteran and dad served in WW2. My father watched silent movies, I Hulu, so much time has passed.
