    Flock cameras at gun ranges

I have cameras covering my home. If I owned a gun shop I would want security cameras all over it because gun shops are a target for burglars. But general surveillance cameras with their data out in the public domain are problematic.

I hate second guessing decisions on the street, but I have to wonder if long guns were available or employed by officers. Training is an expensive proposition in terms of manpower and deployment, ammo, and facilities. Many agencies are struggling to meet stsffing demands and just can't afford...

The irony is that knowledgeable people knew the answer the day it happened. The criminal investigation told the story from the outset. The rest is pile on media and internet warrior distortion and hype. On principle, I truly hope SIG sues the crap out of the purveyors of the libelous BS.

What are you doing right now??

IT was so hot yesterday I got a bit dehydrated while shooting a round of skeet. Hard to focus on the target when the radiator is low. Going to pick up my tractor with new tires this morning. Good thing those tires last decades.

An intelligence officer of the highest order

He was a legend within OSI when I was a young agent Richard M. Sakakida, the Nisei spy who infiltrated Japanese headquarters. Richard Motoso Sakakida (1920–1996) was a Hawaiian-born Nisei soldier in U.S. Army intelligence who went undercover in Manila before World War II. In March 1941, nine...
