    The Thompson Submachine Gun

The drum(s), both L (50-round) and C (100-round), rattled loudly, making them unsuitable for military field use. While they fed well, the drums were awkward. The stick magazines were far better for general purposes.

    The Thompson Submachine Gun

I'll take it in 10mm Auto.

CMP to Sell (Modded) Military Surplus M14s

I didn't realize you were that photogenic.

CMP to Sell (Modded) Military Surplus M14s

I'd rather shoot my Ruger SFAR (AR 10). It is lighter, shoots just as well, and is easier for this old man to carry in the field. While I can appreciate the historic value of the M14, it doesn't always pay to live in the past.

CMP to Sell (Modded) Military Surplus M14s

The M1A shoots just as well, and for less money.

Special Operations Command wants a 10-pound 5.56mm machine gun

This is another stupid gun. They can do better by making it a larger cartridge. More government waste.

    Ronin 10mm is TRASH!

Pittdogg: Don't worry, they'll sell you anything as long as you are willing to buy it. Most of the "macho" men who feel muzzle blast tolerance illustrates how tough they are. The "I'm tough" crowd impresses no one but those who think so. PT Barnum was right. There is one born every minute. If...

    Ronin 10mm is TRASH!

So the 100 fps isn't any real sacrifice. These velocities put it down with the lower-end .40 S&W. More bark, less bite. This seems like a poor trade-off. Whatever floats your boat.

    Ronin 10mm is TRASH!

You can keep thinking that way, but you are, in fact, sacrificing the true ability of 10mm Auto Cartridge. Maximum charges will make that small pistol buck without the added ballistic advantages. This wasn't the purpose of the round.

Man Learns the Quickest Way to Get Kicked Out of a Gun Range

Deliberate pointing of a firearm is a chargeable offense, period. It isn't a misdemeanor. It is felonious endangerment. As an adult they know better. There is no excuse.

Man Learns the Quickest Way to Get Kicked Out of a Gun Range

That's Assault with a Deadly Weapon. A chargeable offense. Think about it.

Man Learns the Quickest Way to Get Kicked Out of a Gun Range

There is a distinct difference. You don't live in la-la land. These young idiots have resided there so long that they take the trash to the curb every Sunday for collection.

Man Learns the Quickest Way to Get Kicked Out of a Gun Range

The boys (and they are boys) have yet to understand that firearms are dangerous/deadly power tools that, when mishandled, can result in serious injury or death. They live in an electronic/motion picture fantasyland. This is how/why they are maimed or are fatally injured. They truly believe that...

Man Learns the Quickest Way to Get Kicked Out of a Gun Range

They must have come from single-parent households. (The gene pool was a bit shallow.)

Man Learns the Quickest Way to Get Kicked Out of a Gun Range

This may sound cruel, but if that handgun had discharged while pulling that asinine stunt, neither of them would be allowed to return. (That's if his buddy survived.) Thus endeth the lesson.

Man Learns the Quickest Way to Get Kicked Out of a Gun Range

Dad would take us out. As the son of a Navy Rifle Team Member, I know better. My teenage hormones were kept in check, and my brain didn't run out of the end of my male organ. These gangly-looking idiots look as if they still live in their mother's basement. They act as if they learned...
