A Deadly Load for the 32 H&R Magnum

I am just speculating but when the 32 H&R came out in the early-mid 80’s I would bet that the “Magnam” handle was some because if is a lot more zippy yha anything else in its weight class at the time and we’ll Magnam was a good marketing term as 357 wheelguns was still domination LE sales at...

For you 1911 guys how many mags do you carry?

You are listing one way attacks where nobody fired back. Attackers that are fired upon if not incapacitated self delete themselves or disengage at best they shoot a couple over the shoulder rounds while running Street thugs are not committed like contracted hit men. Crazy active shooter...

For you 1911 guys how many mags do you carry?

My point was on mitigated risk. If someone wants to carry 5 mags cool. Myself based in my one experience of responding to shootings and doing a lot of training with national respected instructors here are more things to worry about. Peolme are better served with OC a flashlight Amd some med...

Poetic Justice for a cop killer.

Kern county (Where the Bakersfield Qual was born) is a no mess around area for criminals they had the highest hit % of any LE agency in the country at above 85% The saying was Bakersfield/Kern county is where LA criminals go to die. No tears should be shed!

For you 1911 guys how many mags do you carry?

You can carry whatever you want that’s your choice. I am just stating factual incidents on the private sector (and LE that needs to reload it’s because they go cyclic split times and hit everything but the perps elbow if that after 17 rounds) That said If your carry a gun for self defense and...

HK Shrinks the VP9: Meet the New VP9CC Micro-Compact

For you 1911 guys how many mags do you carry?

That is also more worry than real events. While mags can fail they usually only fail in high volume sessions like a match or a 400 round a day course but a 5-7 round defense shooting bit so much. Mehta usually causes malfunctions in self defense shootings is poor geip (usually when an LEO has...

For you 1911 guys how many mags do you carry?

While a cute saying the reality is you are gonna run out of time before you run out of bullets. What’s in the gun js it there has never been a successful reload in a self defence shooting. But folks want to think they are an exception!

    Discuss the SA-35

Not sure if your grip preference but I find that a revolver or crushed grip does away with hammer bite on Browning Hi Power or the like. Thumbs forward seems to increase it while hand side can vary.

    Discuss the SA-35

The issue with making it a larger caliber is beefing up everything will nae a huge difference to the looks. The 9mm is about as prefect blend of weight and balance there is especially when you look at the fact 1935 was a long time ago. The 40 cal was not the same feel as the 9mm so I couldn’t...

Why do the 17 rd mags rattle

Every once in a while. Sometimes the rounds don’t stack up as tight thwre is no change in reliability if you take one out it should stop if it bugs you that much 15 or 17 isn’t going to make or break anyone that’s ever been documented this side of Faluja

First M16 Rifles in the Vietnam War

While true almost every piece of military gear gets oversold I would put some blame of Troops as well. Many bent barrels using them to torque “open” the bands on C Rats and ammo pallets. We all have seen this. You leave some folks (especially Military and Corrections) alone for 5 minutes with...

    9mm garrison

Probably have to get it cut and installed. Springfield use to offer the Range Officer line of the past was probably the best priced 1911 that worked with nice Bo Mar type adjustable target sights. Perhaps SA will offer a Garrison version of that at some point
