    Understanding NFA

The problem you have is the gun is designated a pistol because of the brace which prevents you having to declare it a Short Barreled Rifle. If you put a stock on it you have to SBR it regardless of the length of the barrel that goes on afterward. The brace/stock change is the issue, not the barrel.

    Understanding NFA

Once it’s SBRd it’s SBRd. You can go back and forth between barrel sizes as your heart pleases. It doesn’t un-become an SBR. BTW, as per ATF regs you have to get the lower engraved to reflect you as the builder. There is a process to get the SBR designation removed if - for instance - you...

    Understanding NFA

The lower is the serialized part and because it has the fire control system is legally considered the firearm. What kind upper and barrel length goes on it makes no difference once the lower is SBRd.

I try and show restraint with the ignore button otherwise I’d use it on all y’all, except @belladonna and she doesn’t buy guns fast enough for my liking, so guess what? She gets IGNORED too! Now it’s just blissful silence. Just me and the memory of BassBob and HansGruber.

    ConcealedCarry attire

Why do they have to be mutually exclusive? Unless you wear a lot of spandex/stretchy fabric there’s really no need to change up one’s wardrobe. A good holster is the key. I like a holster with a claw and a wedge. I can conceal a 4.25 2011 with shorts and a t-shirt using a holster like that.

    More magazine capacity

Everything I carry has 18-20 rd capacity. For me if I ever find myself in that situation-the chances of which are practically nil-and I decide to engage, I’m going to be focused on getting myself into a position to make high percentage shots, I’m not going to be slinging shots long distance. If...
