I had a duty gun (Gen 1 Glock 22 .40) that never jammed once in almost 24 years. None of my Hi Powers ever jammed either. 👮‍♂️. Then again, I didn't "tune" them and try to fix what wasn't broken. :-)

If I'm going to the range, I always have one in the gun just as a visual general courtesy to others. I never presume the other guy has safe gun handling practices and he doesn't know if I do. I'm sure anyone who has worked a range can tell you "Ooops" stories.

Got into financial dire straits and had a cat get deathly ill. I had a half decent collection of Browning Hi-Power pistols and had to sell every last one. All were legit BHP, no clones. One was made in occupied Belgium, markings and all. Made me ill.

Mod 642 .38 with Crimson Trace grips. Started my LE career in revolvers with a 681 S&W .357 and I'm just partial to revolvers. I carry in a local made leather AIWB holster. Wadcutters FTW.

We all know that parts fail over time and usually when you don't need them to!. What's everyone's solution for this? I was thinking about getting just a middle of the road parts kit to have on hand. Overkill or is there a better way to do it?
