A good shotgun with the proper loads is still a force to be reckoned with. That being said, a good rifle can be even better at typical ranges for such a weapon in those circumstances.

sounds like my first hog hunt, with a .357 --missed. Later hunt involved 12 g magnum buck - no misses.

with a dedicated group of already trained companions, paint ball tournaments also can contribute - wonder why the author and others always miss that. Used to train with Army buddies this way. You learn not to get shot.

It seemed a fair contest - interesting that both sides missed so many shots on target.

what makes the difference, imo, is getting the professional training and then sticking to strict personal management on the trades. Dispel the fear and greed, it works.

popped into bass pro as it's been a while. Well the prices on holsters have really jumped. Took a look at a used .44 mg, very rough, scribed, yoke was crapped out and the ejector mech felt sluggish and gummy, likely heavily used. BBL end was knicked as well and cylinder eject button felt like...
