Ditto. My range goes out to 400 yds. and I have yet to buy the scope, but I did just get am M1A Loaded with the precision stock. I am going to take it out and shoot some iron sights maybe out to 200 yds. or so.

As a NRA instructor I am allowed to order 1 or 2 Firearms a year, directly from SA (shipped to my local FFL). My dealer charges me $55 for the transfer. The TRP Operator shown here is the last one I got that way. So it is not a scam but a very nice benefit to certified instructors.
