I watched a YouTube video about...

I have had the living $#it scared out of me when one fool pulled a machete out of the front floorboard of his forest green Ford Taurus at 10:00 pm on December 25th, 2008. (I was at a static "unarmed" post at a Parr Lumber store being built just off Interstate 5 in Battleground, Washington.) I...

    True that, brother. True that.

I watched a YouTube video about...

This man has the background/experience to back it up. I am a veteran that worked as an Armed Security Patrol Officer who patrolled the "mean streets" of Portland, OR during the late 90s/early 2000s and had a number of "close calls". Been there/done that.

I watched a YouTube video about...

That's the one. Correction: The .32 ACP has been in service for 127 years. (That's a darned long run.)

I watched a YouTube video about...

The .22 WRMF, the .32 ACP and the .380 ACP in "pocket automatics". The upshot from the short video was... .22 Magnum: Isn't dependable enough to use as a "last ditch" backup gun for SD. (Rimfires can't be relied upon 100% of the time. Not good.) Clothing can inhibit penetration and any...

    S&W CS at it again

I had a friend that was so stupid he thought manual labor was a Puerto Rican.

Heritage Launches Roscoe Carry Revolver in 32 H&R Magnum

That would be an easy-shooting revolver with .32 S&W Long loads. The .32 is inherently accurate from the get. Shot placement is everything.

    Tesla's new flying car

That will play hell on any near underwire bra!

Heritage Launches Roscoe Carry Revolver in 32 H&R Magnum

The Roscoe is a well-made piece. In .32 H&R Magnum, it is an effective anti-personnel cartridge.

    Tesla's new flying car

Speaking of manhole covers, my sister-in-law would likely be in jeopardy!

Heritage Launches Roscoe Carry Revolver in 32 H&R Magnum

I bought a 1965 Charter Arms Undercover last spring. It is identical to the piece my father carried for the US Post Office in Corvallis, Oregon before he passed away. I miss that man.

Heritage Launches Roscoe Carry Revolver in 32 H&R Magnum

I have the Charter Arms in .32 Magnum. This is just a tad heavier. I like it.

Bystander/good Samaritan eliminates shooter at school

You have that right. Demonizing the man who canceled the BG's ticket would be a hard sell.

Discussion: The True Story Behind the Mattel M16 Rifle

If the stock were issued during the period of "rumspringa", It would probably be "morning wood". ;)

I am in deep, deep trouble!

Someone should tell my sister-in-law about the recall. The florist down the street has an inventory that is suffering horiffically!

    True story!

I'm about 28 miles from the VA Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Sometimes it can be a regular pain in the... that's the place!

Discussion: The True Story Behind the Mattel M16 Rifle

The original M3/M3A1 was made by the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors I don't know who made the later submachineguns.

Bystander/good Samaritan eliminates shooter at school

That happened over in Bend, (OR). Thank God we had a level-headed permit holder. May the offender eternally feel tormented in perdition.

Discussion: The True Story Behind the Mattel M16 Rifle

Gentlemen: The old "M16 made by Mattel" canard/myth came from a Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In sketch. A few of the Laugh-In Players portrayed men in US Infantry uniforms acted like their rifles were jamming. One actor blurted out "My M16 was made by... Mattel?" I remember watching it on KVAL-TV...
