I heard the most cringeworthy comments and thought processes when I worked at an indoor range and gunstore. It’s also where out of the 269 some Navy SEAL’s in Vietnam I met like 700 of them!

I have noticed a lot of folks that talk about “car and truck” guns also preach against off body carry which makes me chuckle. I am personally not a fan of vehicle holsters and such. But everyone can do whatever!

That was one of the “selling points” on LEOSA 20 some years ago it was suppose to eventually lead to private citizens….. it like Bush here we get lip service and wait!

Here is my thoughts from working jnsode the Federal Bureau of Prisons specifically at USP Terre Haute and delt with several death row inmates. As well as general population high security inmates. Is it a deterrent????? Probably not as much as it should be however inmates (the violent ones...

m Well I have seen one miss a full size silhouette at 7 yards with a round of 12 GA 00 buck as in the only hole was from the wad. And this was way before Federal Flight control was a thing

I can tell you the Execution protocol withjn the Federal BOP the ones that administer the kethal injections are medical doctors, there are 3 of them and they are all BOP staff. Like the old firing squad where some fire blanks I LE one of the 3 Doctors inject the chemicals, 2 of them three the...

Dealing with the training realm at academy’s I’m not sure if the POST certified thing inspires confidence…….minimum standards gets them stamped at firearms But I have zero to do or say with what Idaho does

My take (and kine everyone here this is without interviewing anyone there) She seemed to be the initial aggressor (which already makes her wrong) She pointed a gun at the deceased (which again is probably not considered reasonable force) And yjen **** him which even with castle doctrine or...

Yes and one would think the US Supreme Court would have factored that in .not sure why as any judgment against here will ultimately get appealed for that reason. While the late shots on some can make a good shoot bad gbis was nowhere near that

This should be of interest for everyone. Especially if like most here you or loved ones carry firearms for defense and are not familiar with the case of LAPD Officer Toni McBride you should make yourself familiar. Where this is relevent to civilian shootings is with all the go fast cyclic split...

Sort of funny timing Matt Landfair just posted this from a couple years ago on his Primary Secondary page. And since the Pelvic girdle keeps getting mentioned here and everywjere by folks that probably either don’t know or base it in that one time at band camp it worked (or in the Military with...

H Gnoimd a step future???? Weight, conbieniance and knowing your own role. I can tell you as I approach 60 years old the amount of peolme I will go out in a limb for where I risk death/bodily injury and or court/fines/jail and prison js relatively small. That said I wouldn’t say anyone is...

I have a ton of experience woth force in force and just scenerios with simmunitions . Pain (not sure if compliance is the right word) but you need to have pain AND you need to have control or it becomes a huge game of grab **** on who has the bigger balls and that defeats the lesson especially...

I see a lot of this “training” where it seems to be folks trying to do a tactical Assualt. I get you can have to go in an offensive mode for a minute in a gunfight but not quite like storming Normandy. So I have to ask what’s a normal earth person get. Yes stress is good but again as a normal...

Yeah even they withstood the impact I wondered about the spiderweb effect and how you’d even see.

Well at least nobody was running around down range I guess, If it’s not silly training ideas it’s silly products. Here the silly product of the week.

Looks like Virgina is going to be hine to the new Headquarters for Aimpoint and 3 other brands. Rob Garrett just posted this on his FB page...

That’s a hard no for me. But I don’t really care what anyone does only if they can pass a 5 yard roundup or Bakersfield woth whatever they run And keeping them on a B8 at 25 yards I liken it to Darryl Bolke’s example, if you can’t make a heart and lung shot a Professional guide isn’t taking...

Well here’s an article from a couple years ago with a lot of success on bears with 9mm...

Like I said there are some legitimate dog shootings however the majority are probably not. Sort of like those shootings uiu see that while technically legal (found objectively reasonable) use of deadly force there was a ton of “Officer Induced Jeopardy” where he/she did nothing but put...
