Since Midwayusa.com had free shipping on orders of $100 or more, I decided to continue to increase my stockpile of personal defense ammo. I bought 4 boxes of 9mm, 124 gr, HST ammo. I like using Midwayusa.com because they are located in my state so the shipping is relatively fast.

Just got done cleaning my Taurus M44. I love shooting that at the bear targets I have. If I met a charging grizzly in real life, I'd probably be the one that ended up dead with poop in my pants.

My wife and I camped all of our marriage. When we got too old (I got too fat) for tent camping we switched to Glamping. We managed to glamp in 40 states.

I bought a Sneaky Pete holster for my Taurus G2C chambered in 40 S&W. I like the idea of concealed in plain sight.

I owned a 9mm Taurus PT 111 that wasn't drop safe. Taurus issued a factory recall on the pistol so I send it back to them and they sent me a 9mm G2C. I like the G2C better than the PT 111. BTW, I believe there is still an open recall on those pistols.

The only thing for me is I use hand sanitizer a lot more, especially when we cruise.

I see things like this way too often at my local indoor range. You can see the cables hanging down after this shooter managed to shoot the guide that was well above the target. The target was at the 7 yard mark. Weekends are the worst.

They were sitting on my porch at 1:30 this afternoon.

200 rounds of Winchester Ranger T-Series 40 S&W and 150 rounds of the same ammo in 45 ACP.

Just finished up doing my taxes. Can they make this anymore complicated?

Was the bomb necessary, absolutely. I just wish there would have been a way without bombing cities. The two bombs we dropped brought about Japan's unconditional surrender and had little to do with the possibility of Russia entering the war against Japan. I'm a very spiritual person and believe...

If silver stays high like it is, I'll be passing along to my daughter a coin collection that is pretty valuable just based on the melt value of the silver. The way the spot price continues to increase it looks like it will hit $100 for sure.

Your Echelon can handle any ammo on the market including +P+ ammo. Everyone has their own preference in self-defense ammo but in my book the Federal HST 124 gr +P or the Winchester Ranger T-series 124 gr +P are the two best rounds out there for self-defense. They are consistent performers.

I don't live in that type of neighborhood.

Cruises aren't cheap and he won't receive a refund for it either. So, gun confiscated and lose the cost of the cruise, expensive lesson.

A 77 year old man was caught trying to bring a handgun on a cruise ship in Italy. Here's the link...

That's cool that your parents started a coin collection for you when you were little.

My wife and I recently came back from a road trip. When she did the laundry, she checked my pockets for change and along with what I normally have, she found two old nickels (1883 and 1906) and a one centavos coin from Cuba dated 1946. I wish I knew what convenience store I got those from on our...

Another great and storied battleship that is worth touring is the USS Missouri “Mighty MO.” She served in the Gulf War and was the last battleship to be decommissioned. She currently stands guard over the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor. So the two battleships represent the beginning and end of...

Back in the early 1960’s I was almost trapped in an all out riot. I was young and had never in my life seen such behavior, punches were being thrown, damage occurred, people were yelling and screaming, it was all very terrifying to me. I managed to survive by hiding in the men’s room. This all...
