P211 GTO questions for current owners ...

The comp is so easy can't imagine ported and comp'd. Considered the ported opting for the comp due to FMJ ammo requirment. I shoot jacketed however some does not work as advertised meaning need premium ammo for range time. Dumping 300 rounds at .21 per round in an ordinary range trip works for...

    Any Double Rifle enthusiasts here?

This sounds like another expensive rabbit hole that needs a thorough investigation.

Shot of my 2014 Sig STX. Stock Burl and Lok G10. Need G10 in summer. Smooth wood gets slick with sweaty hands ;) Have set of VZ Double Diamond in blue black coming next week. Saw them on the Les Baer Handgunner and couldn't resist. More for the shoe box and another project.

It's not that hard to avoid. A little patience and care. Some prefer to leave recoil spring pressure on and pull the slide lock out. I relieve the pressure. Spring and cap are easy to contain. Then easy align and pull the slide lock. My Bull barrels can be compressed to relieve pressure with a...

Welcome to the forum from Connecticut. Nice pistols. Cycling the slide on the new pistol will help wear it in. The stainless Springfield pistols usually break in easier / faster than coated (Cerakote, Kimpro, etc) firearms. Guys have mentioned grips as well. Lots of great choices out there. Have...

Been thinking about replacing my Mossberg MC2C

Have an Echeclon picked up 8/24. Very happy with the pistol. Easy shooter. Several thousand rounds no issues. Comes with optic plates (multiple optics fit) and 3 different size back straps. Easy to carry. Have shot the Hellcat. Bit more of a handful. Smaller and lighter than the Echelon. Assume...

    Emissary 9MM 5" Experience

Budget restrictions. Picked this one up for $768 +$30 shipping and $50 at my FFL. Less painful than most 1911 purchases.

    Emissary 9MM 5" Experience

Picked up a new Emissary black full size 9MM a few weeks ago. Pistol is running well, very happy with the overall performane and feel. Had some minor issues early with the pistol not going into battery. Needed to occasionally bump the slide or magazine to get it in. Pretty sure heavy Cerakote...

P211 GTO questions for current owners ...

When you put you're hard earned money down it has to be right. Never thought about asking to check all in stock to pick. I typically ask for a fresh one not in the case then check it out.

P211 GTO questions for current owners ...

Agreed. Have a new Fusion XP Comp with about 300 rounds through it in the safe. Honestly surprising pistol in every respect. Easy to keep on target for follow up shots. The knock on them is parts are made in Turkey ala Tisas, etc. They are assembled here in Venice Fl. No mim parts a big although...

P211 GTO questions for current owners ...

Been considering one of these since they were introduced. Just starting to hit our restricted capacity state. Was close on a Prodigy then I got my hands on one of these a few days ago. Smooth slide and great feel. May wait to see the 5" non comp'd version before comtting.
