Welcome from the land of Dorothy and Toto.

On the rare occasion it's an HK P30 something but 95% of the time a 1911 in 45 acp around outside, a 45 acp Shield to church and a Ruger NV birdshead 3.75" in 45 Colt on my night stand. Since I rarely go anywhere except church and the VA I guess my "EDC" is .45 acp.

I have some in 9mm, 45 acp, 45 Colt, 38+P and 5.56 solid brass. The only thing I have shot is steel or water jugs. Never had one fail to go bang. FWIW. Their video of firing 10,000 rds through a new, straight from the box CZ P10C in one outing is what caused me to buy the pistol. Maybe the...

I've tried that as well and it still draws blood after 2 magazines. It will start the process about halfway through the 1st one. As much as I like feel of it in my hand it simply isn't for me. Thanks for the suggestion. It's like my ex-wife. Nice to look at, put together real well and felt...

I have one but I know I haven't shot it in at least 2 years because it nibbles my hand. Tried to sell/trade it a couple times to some younger fellas (Glockheads) but they say, "It's too heavy". I actually forget I have one until somebody brings it up on a forum saying how much they love...

I remember many years ago when an F4C Fast Mover went over me close enough that I could see the pilot turn his head and look at me. Shook my insides but it was definitely "the sound of freedom". It was when an AH-1 lifted out of the trees and momentarily pointed that mini-gun at me that made...

I don't entertain any idea that I am young and mobile enough to do any Rambo stuff but I do have a bag that is with me over the passenger seat for additional items not on my person. As a matter of fact just today I had to go to an appointment and didn't feel like jeans, t shirt and cover...

Sounds like another shooting of a Dindoo. Let the rioting and looting begin.

The one on the right is a Ruger model 5151. I like mine. Just a thought.

All of my Rugers are 10+ years old and I've never had to contact customer service.

I always managed to qualify expert so yeah I've got a few along with magazines and some boolits to go with them. Is it the best rifle going? I don't know but I'll keep on with my poodle shooters and 1911s. Go with what ya know.
