Smith & Wesson Resurrects Two Offerings to Fill Revolver Void

If you are having difficulty shooting left-handed, why would you want to sacrifice both velocity and accuracy potential with a shortened barrel?:rolleyes:

    Daffy Zone…..

My last date was "hotter than a $2 pistol"... and that was the last time she stuffed a Hi Point into her panties!

Smith & Wesson Resurrects Two Offerings to Fill Revolver Void

I saw a note on Sportsman's Warehouse listed for $1059.00 (or thereabouts.) I'd like to revise an earlier statement. The 5 1/2" barrel will launch a 230-grain bullet as will a 6 1/4" 1911. Think about that when you load the revolver with +p ammunition.

HOV lane restrictions and trying to beat them

Watch it, bud! Leaving stains in the wrong places could be viewed in a negative light. (Unless you live in California.)

HOV lane restrictions and trying to beat them

The driver in Portland had a mannequin in the passenger seat. The Portland Police Officer on his motorcycle wasn't fooled at all. The maximum fine of $155.00 wasn't worth it.

HOV lane restrictions and trying to beat them

Ac couple of drivers have tried pulling this stunt in Portland, OR. (Suffice it to say, it didn't end well for the driver.)

Smith & Wesson Resurrects Two Offerings to Fill Revolver Void

That is nice, but I have a couple of reservations about the .45 Colt in S&W's "N" frame. Handloaders like to "firewall" the cartridge, causing the lighter-frame S&W pistols to shoot loose far sooner than the Ruger Redhawk and Super Blackhawk revolvers. It is more costly to shoot factory .45...

Patrick Stewart of Star Trek passes

I never was into the Star Trek Next Generation, Voyager, etc. I am sad to hear of his passing, but... After 1969 the original "Star Trek" motion pictures were about all I cared to see. After that... meh.

Smith & Wesson Resurrects Two Offerings to Fill Revolver Void

Daddy had a 1917 with a 7" barrel (rare). I touched off a 230-grain RNL in his bedroom and destroyed an Avon bottle called the Viking Horn (It contained Avon's "Wild Country" after shave.) Startled the snot out of me! I think the 1917 would make a great defensive revolver. (It would be...

Ooops. Now I have the military surplus itch again.

Here's what one near to me costs. (At the Sportsman's Warehouse.) The best part of it is the pistol is NIB! https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/handguns/zastava-arms-m57a-762x25mm-tokarev-45in-blued-steel-pistol-91-rounds/p/1791344

Ooops. Now I have the military surplus itch again.

You might want to look at the Zastava (Yugoslavian) TT57 (M57) You may be able to find it for less and with an extra round longer magazine. Happy hunting.

On October 12th. we celebrated Columbus Day.

I stole that joke from an early episode of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in. (57 years old, and it is still funny.)
