I think its probably an issue with the Hellcat more than the Reckoning. I believe all their holsters use that retention and I would think it would be a lot more common if truly an issue. Seems like a too thin or not hard enough polymer in the trigger guard or just like how some guns don't like...

Yeah I started cranking them down to see but the bushings are so thick not sure it will really give much. Also leaving Hellcat out of holster a few days and carrying XDs 4.0 to see if trigger guard recovers or not. More out of curiosity than anything.

Almost don't have a choice since you cannot back off the tension if its bent and still have any retention....argh! Still glad I came across this thread sooner than later, just think what would happen if it bent enough to affect the trigger...

Well nuts, I have been running a Crossbreed Reckoning and just drew my Hellcat and what do you know? Same damn thing! :confused:

Any comparison to the SMSc?
