    VOTE!

Voters have been forced to choose the "Lesser of two evils" for far too long. You still end up with evil and that's why this country is in the mess its in. 🤬

Didn't realize that my Walther PPK is fairly rare.

By all means, shoot and enjoy it. They're wonderful pistols.

Finally decided to join the IFA

Always a good idea to join your state's pro-2A organization. Help with the local fight. (y) I've been a member of the Tennessee Firearms Association for many years.

    CMP 1911A1...Please educate me.

Both of mine are Service Grade. Outside of a little expected finish wear, they're fine. Not a very good picture, but it'll give you an idea of condition. 1 and 2 are the CMP guns. I'm afraid there is a bit of glare on #1. You might also note that the thumb safety on #2 is black as it has been...

    Anyone else have the problem.

I have guns that go several years between range trips. I even own a few that I've only fired once. Too many guns and just not enough time.

    CMP 1911A1...Please educate me.

I have two of the CMP 1911s. Excellent gun for the money and a real piece of military history. A USGI 1911 on the open market will cost at least several hundred dollars more. However, be aware that they are mixmasters that have been through at least one rebuild. Maybe more. Plus CMP inspected...

Decided to start chopping up my 22/45

Might be cheaper to just buy another barrel already threaded.

Ooops. Now I have the military surplus itch again.

Friend of mine had one and I have shot it. For such a small round, that 7.62X25 is LOUD!

    Fuel prices

I saw a story on the news last night about a residential cruise ship. This is where people just live on the ship as it cruises all over the world. Anyway, they docked in Cambodia and kicked everybody off. They say they can't afford the fuel anymore...

could an all out final war with Iran be on the immediate horizon..??

That's the gist of the problem. Much of the general population are decent people who want no part of this Jihad. Remember that Iran used to be a modern country with many of the normal freedoms that the people enjoyed. Many people in Iran still remember those days. But then the Islamic Revolution...

could an all out final war with Iran be on the immediate horizon..??

The problem is that most of the world underestimates Iran. Trump thought that he could drop a few bombs and Iran would fold like a paper sack. Wrong! What you are dealing with here are religious fanatics who absolutely believe they are doing their God's will. They are on a divine Jihad to...

Walter Koenig "Ensign Chekov" of the original Star Trek die at 90

I've been a sci-fi fan since I was a little kid. (y) Koenig was a better actor than most give him credit for. As Ensign Chekov he played the innocent, but intelligent young officer learning his way through space. As Bester he was a ruthless, conniving villain. He handled both parts very well.

    Anyone do minimalist camping?

The Boy Scouts of America defined camping as the art of living comfortably in the outdoors. The key word there is "comfortably". My days of roughing it are long over. Humorist Pat McManus wrote a camping humor book titled "A Fine and Pleasant Misery". I think that's more your style. ;)
