My RO has the Parkerized finish but I have to say, that looks awesome. 👍🏼 Ambi safety, nice, which model is that?

Wow, definitely will. Had no idea... I only own my 1911, a .177 break-action air rifle for pigeon control in our yard and my slingshot. Am I even allowed in this forum with that small of an arsenal?

Ok, I'm clueless... what's the stamp? Not seen/heard about it before. I must be living under a rock... not too difficult being in Arizona, lol.

I needed that today, thanks!

Agreed. Once the bad guys get used to seeing them through the glass, they can get quite creative too i would think. Hey, your avatar, is that a Spector bass? (WHOA, that's off topic!)

Um, regardless of what’s written, can we just stop these articles? I instantly feel like I now have to defend what I like, and we get enough of that from the pointless woke generation.

Yeah, you pretty much nailed it!

Only ever stripped a 1911... Modern gun would probably be a breeze!

<--- ahem. Article Shmarticle. NGO since 2020. Only firearm I own. (side note, I searched daily for 9 months throughout 2020 to find this specific model in stock. Finally got it and then it was discontinued. It's already my lifetime friend and now a Springfield classic. 👍)

These are obviously not ideal EDC holsters but I thought y’all would like to see the craftsmanship of this fella’s shop out here east of Scottsdale: https://www.longhornleatheraz.com/ I don’t own one of these although I now wish I had ordered one two years ago… they sporadically stop taking...

This is good. Several times I’ve wanted to shoot my iPhone, now I have a legitimate reason. weeeee! I’ve been away for a few months, lots of family and friend events, forgot how much I miss this forum. Shame on me.

I really don’t understand the question. In fact I don’t understand why the question keeps being asked. It’s incredibly popular, 100s of thousands of people still love it, what’s the debate about? To be honest, I’m getting a little tired of hearing the gun that I own and love get picked at like...

Looks like the title of my post is holding true, lol. 😄

Awesome replies, no dry fire for me because good or bad, it won't matter if I don't. Appreciate all of the responses. Sooooooooo, .45 or 9mm? DON'T ANSWER!! JUST KIDDING!!

Oh man, you can say that again! What PRONOUN?? There's only one: BACHAGALOUP! This will explain it:

Unrelated bit of good news that I can only tell those who would get it: my carry permit arrived in the mail today. I feel grown up now. 'Bout time, just hit 60.

Hate to burst your bubble but Paulie is what you call a big overweight Italian guy from NJ (originally), and that would be me. I think Paula is the female version. Great... if everyone thought I was a chick, now I won't get anyone replying... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm thinking I'll go with that advice. When I bought the gun it had a bad seer and the hammer was following... right out of the box. SA covered it under warranty all the way of course, but I get a bit leery to do something that may or may not cause an issue. I know this: only run cartridges...

I have those. I like racking the slide and watching it fling through the air when I start getting the itch to shoot, lol.

Sure, but I'm still a little wet behind the ears so I wanted to know if I should or not... I probably should have asked it that way! ;)
