Built for Spec Ops: Vortex AMG 1-10X LPVO

Insanely expensive. Yes, maybe worth it to the right individuals, but most of us can't begin to consider that price. Set a cap at 25% of the street price and at least then it can be considered.

    Is MCARBO gone???

Just fine for me at this moment. If it happens again maybe try deleting cookies for that sight then try again.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

When does your store open and where will it be? And only AR parts or others as well?

Thoughts about the Lee Breechlock and Hornady Lock-n-Load Bushing Schemes

I'm actually going to give it the first workout with depriming some .38 brass. I've enjoyed playing with it without any die and it is top quality, really well made and fine workmanship. I got the Lee hand press and then found the Buchanan. I like that it sits upright on the table. And I don't...

Thoughts about the Lee Breechlock and Hornady Lock-n-Load Bushing Schemes

Thanks. I actually don't have any bench. I'm still studying and learning to know enough to be comfortable touching hazmat materials. When I do it will be using a Buchanan hand press working on a Lifetime table. I have 20 years of "accumulating" to work on cleaning up/out to have room for...

Thoughts about the Lee Breechlock and Hornady Lock-n-Load Bushing Schemes

No pics? Sounds impressive. Born with two left thumbs, I don't do anything creative. I am able to follow some directions and assemble some things provided all required parts/components are present. Some. :)

Thoughts about the Lee Breechlock and Hornady Lock-n-Load Bushing Schemes

Wow, not underwhelming at all. That is very nice work. Well thought out and laid out. Other than not being able to line a few presses up in a row it looks like there isn't anything you couldn't accomplish using it.

Thoughts about the Lee Breechlock and Hornady Lock-n-Load Bushing Schemes

I'd love to see pics. I'm a horrible accumulator and have junk everywhere and probably literally less space to set up than you are using.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Yeah, I paid $290 for 1100 rounds, all in. Too much. But the last I'll be buying most likely.

I've Had My Fill - Looking For Recommendations

Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso and Austin are hard blue canvases with a splattering of red like fine droplets from a brush swung once across the space leaving small red specks splattering the otherwise hard blue. No purple involved. Ft. Worth might qualify as purple, maybe. Most of the...

    .41 Special loads

After emails with Hodgdon it looks like one good solution is their magic formula using Trail Boss. I got two bottles of the unobtainium last year for just in case. So this will be my just in case. Probably 1500-1600 rounds, more than I'll likely ever shoot. Never say never. :)

Is It Bad to Store Magazines Fully Loaded?

If it is I have some that have been bad for many many years and apparently don't realize it yet. Shhhhh, don't tell them.

Thoughts about the Lee Breechlock and Hornady Lock-n-Load Bushing Schemes

I'm day one new, still studying and learning. So I don't really know anything. But I went with the system because I (probably mistakenly) thought I'd have to fine tune the die settings each time I swapped them in/out whereas with the system it's fiddle/nudge/cringe/gripe once but then it's...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

1k CCI LPP, 1# AutoComp, 1# Red Dot, 1 MS4 sling, 3 sets Altamont Ruger BH grips (1 by forgetting a gunbroker bid on a lark) and a Gunfighter gun oil/cleaner package. Plus the already mentioned CCI SP & SR primers. The drunken sailor spender has been active.

Thoughts about the Lee Breechlock and Hornady Lock-n-Load Bushing Schemes

I haven't used it yet but I own it with the Buchanan hand press and Hornady L/L system. I'll be loading the various .32's for revolver, the .38/.357 revolver, .41 revolver and .22 Hornet rifle and eventually .30 M1 carbine. So 5 sets of dies will cover everything I'm interested in. It seemed...

    .41 Special loads

The .41 Special doesn't look bad but I'm hoping for around a 750fps load. But 900fps is definitely better than four digits. I just ordered a pound of Red Dot as it appears to be good for milder loads. The research continues.
