Flight considered crime scene after bullet found.

    I wondered the same thing.

    NEW Member with questions.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas! The oddball, as usual, I have zero 1911’s. I prefer DA/SA.

How to Shoot Faster (and Actually Hit)

A little late reading the article and comments, but both were worth my time. Like everybody here, I hope I never need to use my skills with a gun to defend myself or others. But if I should find myself in that situation I just hope I can keep a cool head and use my skills effectively. Welcome...

New Prodigy - Failure To Battery

Welcome, Slimm! I have nothing to add to what Hayes said, except good luck!

    Contact with Law Enforcement

Thank you for your post, Hayes. It is sometimes easy to forget and for all of us who are not law enforcement to remember the sacrifices those called into law enforcement make on our behalf.

I’m with Grayfox — 22LR! You said favorite, so along with Grayfox, I also picked the fun one

.327 Magnum – A Good Caliber for Defense

I have read about the 327, but have never used one.

I agree, Shanneba! This is important.

Can Your .380 Fight a Rifle?

I agree with Pieter’s stance on this issue. Shooting at the writer’s distances may be a low probability, but the stakes could be really high. Nice to know that the gun can handle those distances if we can!

National Rifle Association Sues Sister Organization NRA Foundation

I had not seen that news, Anni. Thank you for the link. Trying to clean up such a big mess is a huge job. I am very thankful for all the new BOD members who are willing to undertake this task. I know (based on previous posts) that you are upset with the NRA, as are a lot of us. I hope one...

Illinois Set to Tighten the Screws on Gun Owners on January 1

Another case of an entire “class” of people being punished by the local government for that same local government abdicating one of their primary responsibilities.

    IWB Holster

Good morning, Mike. I don’t know why exactly that you are mad, but don’t let your search for an AIWB holster add to your anger and frustration. 😁. As far as my recommendation, I have been carrying AIWB since I first started my CCW journey. There are a lot of manufacturers making holsters...

An Article I Thought Might Interest Folks Here

A friend of mine says “You just can’t fix stupid!” I think she is 100% correct.

Boston Tea party December 16, 1773

I wonder if this important event in our history is still taught to children in the schools that we all pay for. At church last week I asked one of our HIGH SCHOOL seniors if she knew about Pearl Harbor happening on December 7th, 1941. She had never heard of it. Neither had any of her...

    Shooting in Rhode Island

I feel empathy for all the students who were told to “hide under their desks.” This incident is just so sad, I don’t have anything else much to say.

Femme Fatales - Female influencers on Instagram

I think it is pretty cool that with all the “influencers” (I still think this is derogatory and misused), we are given the freedom to spend our time watching what we want. Instead of overpaid executives and Hollywood folks determining what will be available for us to spend downtime watching, we...

    Expert Tips for Accurate Shooting

Good morning Hajoc. As far as air rifle shooting, the same techniques apply that a person would use for any another firearm. Hold the sight alignment throughout the trigger squeeze (or”trigger press” to use one of the current buzz phrases).

    Great article from Jeff Gonzoles

I saw that article too, ECS686. I agree wholeheartedly with Jeff Gonzales. The only downside is the “higher math” required! :)

Is the 1911 the Ideal Woods Gun?

In my state (Arkansas), we have had two men killed this year by black bears. In the past, I have been okay with .22 LR, but I am starting to think that is a little under gunned. My preference is a stainless revolver in 357 or 44 magnum.
