I have the 3 inch EMP. Its been a nightmare! Sending it back to Springfield for the third time. I don't think I want it back, going to get my money back. Its only 3 months old. going back to my Glock 36 for my EDC.

Just got mine back for the second time . will be at the range Saturday weather permitting. I will let you all now how it goes.

Just wondering cause Wilson Combat list a compact 1911 9mm 9 round mag. item #500-9c9

Anyone know if Wilson Combat mags. will work with the 3 inch EMP with 9 round mags?

I was taught your EDC should eat anything you feed it. Guess I will have to rethink that

All my other pistols have no problem with this round. even my old Taurus PT1911 eats them like candy. Not a high end 1911 by any means

See I was also having problems with Hornady's critical duty, which has a pretty rounded nose.

Yeah they used 124 grain Blazer FMJ and 147 grain hollow points. I am going to use some federal 147 grain. my problems was with Remington's 115 grain. But I don't se why that should make a difference.

YES I had already sent it back once. They repaired it and sent it back. I shot maybe 10 rounds before it failed again. So I sent it back again. This time they ran 100 rounds through it with no malfunctions. I should have it back on Monday so we will see.

Any other EMP owners having this problem?

I thought ma I agree. I have a Glock 36 a compact 45 which was really hard to get the hang of, but after alot of practice I love the gun. I also have s&w shield never a any problems

the emp mag is made for the emp only out of Italy. I wish wilson combat made mags for it

The emp has gun specific magazines are not available anywhere else so I been told

Going to try Hornady 124 gr +p hollow point and financial 124 gr FMJ

Only used one but there all new. Guns only a week old
