Best Springfield Armory Concealed Carry Guns for Women

Maybe I am the exception, but I am most comfortable just carrying the spare magazine in my pocket. It doesn’t take me anymore time to reach into my pocket vs pull my shirt up and grab it from a holder at my waste.

Best Springfield Armory Concealed Carry Guns for Women

I have a Glock 43X and a Hellcat Pro. They both are good concealed carry pieces, but Hellcat Pro is more comfortable for me in appendix carry.

Will You Use Your CCW If You Are Attacked?

It’s not limited to Soros prosecutors. If some young punk threatens to beat you up and comes at you, if he is unarmed and you shoot him, many prosecutors will ask why you escalated a fist fight into a gun fight. You really are risking your liberty if you shoot anyone who is unarmed. Your age...

Review: Hellcat Pro 4.4" Threaded Barrel Kit

I too put a threaded barrel on my Hellcat Pro and equipped it with a small compensator. I find my shooting a little more accurate and consistent with the setup. My groups are now 1 inch at 15 yards shooting from a standing position. Which for me, is pretty good shooting.

    New Color Variant Hellions

Could someone who has shot a Hellion share their experience on shooting with an optic sitting so high? Is it comfortable to align the optic and shoulder the weapon? I love the look of the Hellion, but optic height on my standard carbine seems just about right, so I am concerned that mounting...

Tips for On-Body Concealed Carry in a Car

I use IWB when driving but my holster is equipped with the Tier 1 holster wedges to keep the holster from being uncomfortable. I highly recommend these wedges.

Should You Shoot? Self-Defense Tips You Don’t Know

In Chicago, the situations are even more complex. Most robberies involve several (3-4) felons exiting a vehicle, where at least 2-3 are armed, with a back up car containing more thugs. I am not saying that it is a good idea to get into a shootout in such a scenario, but if you do, it is very...

Concealed Carry in a Fanny Pack — Good CCW Idea or Not?

My only question is whether the Fanny pack has room to carry the extra quart of testosterone that you lost by using a Fanny pack😊?

First Look: Threaded Barrel Hellcat Pro 9mm

I would be interested in which holster fits the Hellcat Pro with a threaded barrel.

First Look: Threaded Barrel Hellcat Pro 9mm

I just wish that the threaded barrel was compatible with the existing Hellcat Pro. It would be great to be able to swap out the barrel and add a suppressor when storing for home defense.

Review: Walker’s Silencer BT 2.0 Earbuds

When you open the Walkers link in the article and go to reviews almost every review says that the earplugs do not work as advertised. Curious, that Armory life would post a review without testing the full advertised functionality.

    Alexo Athletica CCW Readywear Review

I also bought the men’s jogging pants and the fit and functionality is great. The men’s polo shirt was not as good a fit as the shirt went down to mid-thigh which is not a good look. It forces you to tuck in the shirt which decreases concealed carry functionality.

    Review: Blade-Tech Klipt IWB Holster

I use a blade tech IWB for my XDS with a red dot and it works great. I still prefer OWB, but in the Summer that is not a practical option.

Shooting with a red dot on my new EDC...

Yes, keep both eyes open and your dominant eye will naturally gravitate to the red dot. This is especially useful if you are right handed, but left eye dominent.

Fighting Off a Gun Grab: Do You Need a Fixed Blade Knife?

The loser in a knife fight lies bleeding on the ground, the winner lies bleeding in an ambulance.

Fighting Off a Gun Grab: Do You Need a Fixed Blade Knife?

In Chicago, legal blade length is limited to 2.5” so the KBar TDI is one of the few legal choices.
