Correctly Scaling the Hi-Power's Trigger Break

Well I see my response to the so called moderator was deleted. How asinine! I didn't attack anyone that didn't first attack me. They also pretended to know what they were talking about when in fact if you punch the lower trigger pin out of a Girsan, as mine is in the pic, then remove the slide...

Correctly Scaling the Hi-Power's Trigger Break

You guys are the know it alls that informed everyone I didn't know what I was talkin about + the job could be done in 10 minutes. Well it can't, you're wrong, it doesn't work like the BHP safety removal. Seems there's only one person here that does know what he's talkin about (me) + he already...

Correctly Scaling the Hi-Power's Trigger Break

Nooooo, you're both wrong!!! You can do that on a BHP but it ain't happening on a Girsan. Now you guys figure out why not and what you have to do to get it out. That's what I had to do. I'll expect yah finished in 10 min.

Correctly Scaling the Hi-Power's Trigger Break

Interesting vid, BUT, I can guarantee you ain't gonna get a trigger reading off a stock Girsan MC P-35 using one of those gauges. In fact, only way to get a reading involves pulleys, cables and tractors. I simply can't believe the same guy that designed the 1911 trigger designed the BHP trigger...

First Look: Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy 9mm

I think the folks that are writing off the Prodigy are making a mistake. Trust me, I hear yah and agree, it's had it's problems and I wish it were tested more extensively before release. But, if I told yah everything I wished for that would be at or near the bottom of my list. I own a Sig 365...

First Look: Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy 9mm

Follow up to grip safety not working - did a google search + it turned up a post on another 2011 board. That post said grip loosens + prohibits GS from working. Check my Prodigy + sure enough loose grip. You push the grip module up + retighten the screws, GS works perfectly now. Sure beats...

First Look: Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy 9mm

Here's mine, I bought the 4.25in version. So far, a lot more issues than I expected. I own mostly Berettas, Sigs and CZs and they all run flawlessly. This is my first SA and it wouldn't run more than 2-3 rds at a time and I'd have FTF (failure to feed). You could feel the slide hanging up on the...

Need help with Girsan MC P35 mag disconnect + sights

Just bought my first/last Girsan. Fit/finish exceptional. Balance + ergos are great. So far shoots FMJ, CCN, CFN + JHPs in 115, 125 + 147 gr without a single failure. Now it goes downhill. Hate the mag safety + fact mags (mag as in singular) won't drop. Hate the sights even more, looks like a...
