I use the Holosun circle/dot as well on both pistols (32 MOA Circle) and ARs (65 MOA Circle but use the dot mostly), use an Eotech on one of the ARs, love the circle dot for fast ranging, use the dot for aiming.. I find in training with shooting while moving the circle is far easier to sight...

Have a Kore belt. Love the adjustable side based on what I am carrying. Between my Glocks and my 1911, lets me tighten based on load. OK, also, truth betold, those of us with how shall I say it kindly, varying girths , the ratchet means it always fits (yes, trimmed mine a little long on purpose).

Both my wife's 43X and my 48 have been modified to use the Shield S15 mags. Generally we use the S15s for range and training. The 43X seemed a little "sensitive" with the shield mags and has demonstrated FFDs with enough frequency that she carries the Glock 10rd OEM in her CCW. So I like to try...

I've had good luck with my Viridian RFX11 as well (Ronin 5" .45 AOS), had to adjust and zero but had no issues adjusting, and I've put at least 450+ rounds down range. Maybe not the best but works for me (not to say there may be quality issues, just not mine).

So after a bit of searching, checking reviews, videos, yea, yea, yea...I found and ordered a Garret Industries holster. Kydex with a leather bonded liner....seemed to capture the best of both worlds.

First of all, thank you all for the suggestions, much appreciated. I ended up ordering a Garret Holster, a Kydex holster with a bonded leather lining. I'll post a picture with the Ronin when it arrives, lol, in 3 to 4 weeks.

Pretty sure my Ronin is now "broke in"...latest trip to the range, ran over 100 rounds (Fed Amer Eagle 230gr) through 4 factory mags and three Wilson Combat mags, with no FTFs...:>). Now I need to ask, holsters, where can I find a quality holster (OWB, Leather)...any recommendations? Found...

As promised...from Galco Customer Service: "Thank you for your interest in Galco holsters. Unfortunately, we are not currently making a Thunderclap holster for the 5” 1911 with an optic. The number of requests for a particular gun type influences which holsters are available first."

Ok, one other thought, if you have a Springfield AOS model, the 1911 holster featured does not offer an "Carry Optic" option. Oh well, pity. I emailed Galco Customer Service to ask if said option could be in the works, will post a reply.
