Loose plug! When I went to open plug for inspection, I found it was finger-tight! Don't know how the H*ll this happened. Obviously, I didn't tighten it enough on reassembly and it came loose during initial firing of 300 rounds. What's the rule for tightening?

Sort of related: I've seen training videos dealing with injured strong hand while using semiautomic. In video. the GI racked the slide using the back of his heel, in the kneeling position. That's great when you're 18 y.o.! I'm a senior and could do it with some practice and Advil! G.

That must've been a real wrist-breaker! I never shoot anything heavier than .357 through a Ruger GP 100 w/ 4" barrel. That was bearable, given the gun's heft. Never with a lightweight snub-nose. As I am retirement age and starting to really feel recoil, I will revisit .380.
