It does not fire on safe, only in the 45 as shown.

See pictures it doesn’t rotate to 90 position, you can only place in safe position when hammer is cocked. I believe this is a GI trigger system.

Recently acquired a Saint Victor, I noticed the ambi selector switch moves from safe to fire at 45 degrees , but the manual shows it in a 90 degree position? And I’m used to 90 position on all my other ARs. Functionally it fires in that position. Any one else encounter this? Is this as designed...
